I cant believe Newsday still lets you post here with that stupid name. You never have anything worth a **** to say, either- look at this recent waste of time you call a response.

Tim Jackman lost a whopping 4 out of 17 NHL fights sofar eason. He is in the NHLs top 10. Bt more than anything else he is a hockey player who happens to fight, he is NOT an enforcer/goon. If you are too stupid to understand the difference between the two I am not surprised at all... in fact, I expect nothing more from the likes of you.

Tim Jackman should be ashamed of himself the way he backed down to Colton Orr TWICE in the same game-
That's OK in certain game situations but both times he chickened out- His teammates know it so how can anyone believe that this guy is a leader ?
Jackman himself knows he wussed out and I wonder how he can look himself in the mirror knowing this- He's a coward-

And the continuation of the most ignorant postings by a clueless racist. I'm sure you wouldn't back down either moron. Seems like Jackman was pretty smart in that situation. Did you have your post queued up since the Isles-Rangers game, and just couldn't wait until you got the chance? Do everyone a favor and act out a reenactment of Fight Club. You might knock some sense into yourself, although there isn't much hope for that.

Who cares about Tim Jagoff, the Islanders or Hockey in General?
Answer: No one
Its a sport that has been gayedup over the years, and now there is staged fighting. What a Joke! WWE is now more of a sport than hockey!

staged as in agreeing to fight later on in the game at a specific point in time as opposed to spontaneous fisticuffs.

Not staged as in fake like the WWE.

He oughta be consistent then- The next game he drops his gloves with a much smaller, non fighter whose name escapes me...you can't be a tough guy sometimes...the great ones were always tough guys even if they were scuffed up with bruised hands from a previous fight...rule number one- Show up-

Okpososamonkey,Wouch,
what are you 2 funzalooms doin. Ur lives must be real classless and shallow. U come on our site and spew your flatulance of the mouth, without the manners to wipe the rest of the crap thats stuck to your face off. the two of u are the main reason row vs wade was overturned and I hope immodium finds its way into both your systems soon, maybe it will plug you up the way it's intended. to the rest of my Isle's fans, we have alot to look foward to and I can not wait until next season. this team is fast and aggressive, and all heart. I said it after the draft and I'll say it again, this team is on its way to great things.

What great things can a hockey team achieve? More than 5k attendance? Coverage on the news? A national primetime game for once? A following that enjoys staged fighting? LOL

Every single Newsday article covering this pathetic team is the same.....

BlahBlahBlahBlah Grit BlahBlahBlahBlahBlah Effort BlahBlahBlahBlahBlah Hard Work BlahBlahBlahBlah Nice Try BlahBlahBlahBlah Isles Lose A Close One.

That's awesome for the Saturday morning Rec League or my kid's tee-ball team. When was the last time your boss gave you a promotion and a raise for a "gritty effort"? Remove the feeding tube and let this sorry franchise out of its misery. I'm sure the 300 fans they have left who aren't hallucinating about Bobby Nystrom and Butch Goring will get over it by baseball season. Sheesh.....

I see we have another clown wearing his orange and blue colored glasses-
This team is no more fast or aggressive than any other NHL team- All quality NHL players have heart or they're not in the NHL,they're still stuck in the AHL where more than half of this Islander team belongs- Get real pal-

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Virgo

Keep a pinch of salt handy today because not everything you hear will be the gospel truth. Someone might have manipulated the facts to make them sound more acceptable, or they may have got carried away and forgotten to tell you something rather vital. Try to keep misunderstandings to a minimum by being as straightforward and honest as possible, and by not simply assuming that people know what you're talking about and therefore not bothering to explain properly.
