Not so, and that misunderstading is one of the reasons the Isles don't sell. Corporate yuppie or not, it is people who go to games, not corporations, and you can't make people go to a game they don't want to see. The corporations buying tickets just increases the prices. Isles prices are comparable to NYR who have a much larger fan base. Check out NYR ticket exchange and Stub Hub prices for NYR games. People, not corporations, pay many times the face value for tickets. The Isles should lower prices to attract fans. |

proven fact--i'm hungry! i guess i can chew on afinogenov's slump-busting game-winner for a while...not to be a jerk, but the continuing woes of the isles and rangers does make it easier to be a buffalo fan in nyc (is it really possible that the rangers have one stanley cup in 67 years?...at least the isles had a dynasty once...)
