I understand that the referees have really been bad this year. However, that is not the only reason the Rangers are losing. Jagr and Shanahan are the only consistant players and you can not win with only two people putting it out there night after night. You lost accept it and concentrate on the next game because you need the points.
Stop crying and play.

Yeah, the refs have been pretty bad, but if you've watched, you cant help but wonder if there is some sort of bias against the Rangers. Im sure other teams feel like that (except the Devils of course, who must be paying off the refs). Yesterday, no penalties in the 3rd period against Toronto ? Did you watch the game ? I did, and it was painfully obvious that Toronto didnt play a "perfect" 3rd period. The penalty called against Cullen with about 1:30 remaining.... sure I guess its a penalty, but they didnt call that crap the entire game.

By the way Straka has been the most consistent Ranger.

I dont think the refs were too bias against the rangers last night when they allowed Shanahan to direct the puck into the net for a goal. That was clearly kicked, directed on purpose, therefore it should not have been allowed.

the Rags are just full of excuses this year. what a bunch of whining babies. Renney never really holds his team accountable. It was the flu.. it was injuries. It was this. It was that. Maybe it's just that even with all the fire power in the world, they still can't gel and play up to their potential. It's great to see them so frustrated. No cup this year - or any time soon.

1. You are allowed to re-direct a puck in the net. A goal will be disallowed if there is "a distinct kicking motion" 2
2. Shanny didnt kick the puck in - he deflected it with his stick.

It went in off of his STICK. Also, his feet were turning AWAY from the next.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Aquarius

You will not be satisfied in your work place, but give it some time and things will fall into place. Those in the construction business should get some good news. Aquarian homebodies will find things rather hectic and may develop a headache by the end of the day, so you should avoid negative thinking as much as possible.
