<quoted text>O.k. its a deal !! If the flys win the division I leave..... If the flys dont make the division as leaders at the end of the season, then you leave... One year term..sound o.k. to you ?? Oh ya I wont mention the tum........ie thing again...good luck
Yup, that sounds good. If they don't win the division I leave but if they do, you leave. One year ban sounds fine.

I'm surprised you agreed with me on both terms though...wow, that's a first (with the bet and you not agreeing to mention the latter part again). Yeah, good look to you, too.

Actually, I changed my mind...if you wanna mention it (the "sick in the tummy" thing) and use it to take a shot at me go right ahead. You're gonna get your shots in on me anyways, so why not? Feel free to say whatever ya want Dev..cause that's not the worst thing you could say anyways..

Not at all, because Im actually starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.. I like the way the leafs are putting in a good effort every night, not always winning but Im starting to see good progress.. We have a good goalie now,if he could get over his heart problem and I cant believe it but we are now not far from that final playoff spot, Who know wang, they might just make it..

So, Dev, should I expect to have a bad feeling in my tummy for the rest of the season, with Stevens being fired, and Laviolette a probable replacement? hahaha

Lavie will instill a turn around for a few games, but the flys havent addressed the real problem. Lack of system and execution.. They will win a few on adreneline ,but their poor play will come back to haunt them,, Lavie is your new coach..

If the coaching change doesnt bare fruit, then the next thing will be making some stupid trades...I think they jumped the gun on this, but we will see... The flys sure havent lived up to their high billing as of yet.. I guess Pronger isnt the saviour that the flyfans thought he would be...

Pronger is probibly the main reason this team isnt lower in the standings. The only problem with this team is the skiled players. They have to start to do something or else this team will not successful.

-2 is not a good thing to brag about flyboy... He is getting old, slow and isnt worth what you guys paid for him.. The high expectations he brought with him probably cost the coach his job.. What a disapointment he has been..

He is one of the premier defenders in the league. He will be on team Canada. He is everything you want in a defenceman.

Dev, Pronger's not the player he once was but he's still a great player, as his stats indicate. He's an early favorite for the Norris.

Wang I will say he is still a Good player for now,but great.......I dont think so.. Norris...I doubt it,but one never knows.. One thing i do know is that he is slowing down considerably and once that starts its a fast and slippery slope down to really slow...

Stevens is a good coach. I will say its hard to know what he is doing behind closed doors. I have a feeling he does call his players out. I have respect for a guy who keeps everything in house. I give him credit for controlling emery, pairing Pronger and carle together, and the development of Richards, Carter, Hartnell, Giroux, Coburn, Carle, and JVR. I have to give him credit for creating the Carcillo, Betts and Lapperiere line. He has done a lot to prove that he is capable of being a head coach in the NHL. The players are resposable for the inconsistent play of the team. Richards should be partly to blame as he is the captain.
He was the WHINIEST coach in NHL history, though he was given a run for his money last year by Bruce Boudreau. What a relief it was to get to play against a class act like Paul Maurice, and not to have to listen to the constant crying about the refs and how poor little delicate flowers like Daniel Carcillo were getting so abused by the big, bad Penguins. You may think incessant whining is an important leadership skill, but it's clear teams respond better to the Dan Bylsmas and Paul Maurices and Mike Babcocks, who refuse to make (ridiculous) excuses for poor play. Laviolette seems to be that kind of stand-up guy as well.

I don't know, Dev. That was a pretty slick assist he dished out to Crosby last night.
