Any kind of shot is better than just skating down into the goalie :)

TAKE HARTNELL NOW - DOD YOU SHE THAT SHIT IN THE SHOOTOUT LAST NIGHT???? I literally could have done better than that last night. That was just pathetic.
I was surprised that they used Hartnell, since he never was used in the shootout last year. I think they should have used Matt Carle, cause I really like his shot. You don't use a gritty forward like Hartnell/Knuble in a shootout...but you know, they had to use someone, and it was kind of unfair to Hartnell that he had to try to tie the shootout, after Richards, Gagne, Lupul, Timonen, were used. If they had Danny playing, it could have been a different story. They probably would have put Danny in second, after Gagne, then have Richards, Timonen, Lupul, etc...that's why I'm hoping the Flyers pick up Shannahan, cause he's got a nasty shot in the shootout and I think he'd increase our chances of coming out on top. But you can blame Richards for the loss, cause he made a bad error in trying to pass the puck in the slot, when he should have just wrapped the puck around the boards.

It's just a tough break for the Flyers last night cause they did almost everything to win (except having a bad start, though they overcame that). The Flyers gotta be able to stop this crap with not being able to finish games, especially against the Pens, who the lead the league in come-from-behind victories.

That WAS by far one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. I would have put Upshall in the shootout before I put Hatnell in.

Yea I would have put Uppy in before Hartnell as well...but it can't be changed. Hopefully they bring Shanny in so they can do better in the shootout.

Well, I think he'll help out more than just in the shootouts :)

Hey Dos, saw last night's results against the Habs. Boy, did your team do a number on them!!! The B's are playing well right now. No surprises here.
That was a helluva game.
I know it's only one game and the B's have a long way to go to even the score, but Montreal was pretty stupid and lazy in underestimating the Bruins after how they've played in the previous games.
That Lucic fight was a year and a half in coming though...that was REAL good to watch.

Must have been. I know the Boston/Montreal rivalry is huge. You must have felt like I do when I watch Ottawa lose. Come to think of it, Montreal got crushed pretty bad not all that long ago....vs. Toronto!:-), I think a lot of Leaf fans enjoyed you beating Montreal too.

It's too bad that the B's fans class and humility didn't rub off over the years in Montreal. As much as I respect the franchise, I think their fans need to get a grip (booing the U.S. anthem for one thing, and another is singing goodbye to Pheonix during a regular season game, plus the fact they rioted their streets after beating the Bruins in the 1st round).

Yeah I hear you guys and the Devils are two teams that want him. Now that Brodeur is out, they need to focus on a goalie even more then you guys do.
