Hemsky, Oilers hold off Flyers, 5-4

They tried to come back. Great game overall; too bad we were on the losing end. Who the heck is that Hemsky guy? He was all over the place and made the boys look stupid.

haha yea, Ales Hemsky. He blew past Timonen and Coburn on two occasions and got Biron to over commit on both goals. Of course, Biron was sloppy the entire night, though, I gave him a pass on Souray's goal (slap shot from the point....there's no way he was stopping that). The power play was very good though, going 3/6, although, it would have been great if they could have converted one more time. It's not like the Oilers are a great team...they're good, but not great. If Kimmo and Coburn were on their games yesterday (they were a surprising -7 combined), chances are the Flyers win. I'm kind of concerned that the Flyers have zero wins against the Western Conference so far, but it's a long season, so we'll see what happens. Next game is thursday against Ottawa, they gotta win that game.
