What do you expect when you put Biron in. My little sister could score on him right now. I was at the game and believe me EVERYONE was disgusted. Stevens has to go NOW. Nitti shut down Atlanta 7-0 but yet we keep putting Biron in. The Flyers organiztion is under this bullshit presumpotion that Biron is a #1 goaltender. I hope SOMEONE figures this out before the seaon is shot and it will have to be someone besides Stevens, cause he just aint that smart.

I was reading an article on tsn.ca/nhl that the Flyers' management is looking for another goalie. It's rumored that they're looking at Jaroslav Halak, the backup from montreal, and some prospect from Atlanta, since Nikolai Khabibulin comes at too steep a price.

Yeah , they have to do something. I still dont know why they just dont put Nitti in for the meantime. They need to put himin for at least 4 or 5 games and see how he does. Biron is sucking right now and needes to ride the pine for a while. Maybe even throw Aubin in for a few. I'm sure hes hungry for a title shot about now.

Roloson who is the back-up has been playing for the Oilers lately so the team can showcase him to potential trade partners, ie the Flyers. He is there for the taking.

''We gave them a lot of room to execute their give-and-goes, their passes, and their 3-on-2s,'' the goaltender said."

And thats a quote from Biron on the game. Yeah, I'm sure the loss had nothing to do with SHITTY GOALTENDING right Marty?

Maybe they should put Niitymaki in for a 5 or so games. Maybe he'll become more consistent if he knows that he's the starting goalie everytime he comes to the rink. Even if he has a bad game, put him back in to give him a chance to redeem himself. I hate to say it, but Biron maybe one of those goalies who just brings stability to rebuilding teams, while they're in situations like the 2006-07 Flyers were. I wouldn't put Aubin in though, cause he would be no better than Biron. He's probably even more swiss cheese-like in net than Marty is. However, don't blame it ALL on Marty, because Kimmo and Coburn had bad games yesterday...they were a combined -7, and allowed Hemsky to just blow by them and beat Biron. I would have rather them trip or hold hemsky...even though the Oilers would get a PP, it's better than getting beat on a play.

So, the goals right now are:
1.)Fire Stevens and hire Ted Nolan or Ken Hitchcock
2.)Look for a solid top 4 defenseman (Mattias Ohlund or Jay Bouwmeester)
3.)Get a solid no.1 goalie to replace Biron and in the meantime, start Niitymaki.

"According to the Ottawa Sun, the Flyers are very concerned about their goaltending and could be shopping for a solution. Noting that Chicago's Nikolai Khabibulin would be too pricey, the paper suggests Atlanta prospect Ondrej Pavelec or Montreal backup Jaroslav Halak as possibilities.

The Ottawa Sun had Philadelphia, Ottawa, Florida, Boston and St. Louis looking for a defenceman and pegs Vancouver's Mattias Ohlund as the number one option. The Vancouver Sun responded with Canucks GM Mike Gillis denying that the Canucks have any intention of dealing Ohlund."

TOO funny. Stevens sent Downie back to the Phantoms. Everytime he makes a TINY ASS mistake Stevens sends him down. He has such a hard on for that poor guy. If he wants to send people down that arent doing squat and messing up up then send Upshall down for a while. He hasnt done SHIT lately.

Yea, even though I like Upshall and I feel that he's giving 100% each night, he's most likely going to be traded at some point. Did you hear the news about how Holmgren met with Brendan Shannahan? If he adds Shanny to the team, it would be in place of Upshall. Even though Shanny is old(39), he still can play really well, and actually was one of the leading scorers for the Rangers last season in goals(23). I wouldn't mind adding him to the third line, plus, he's a beast in the shootout! He would really help our chances of winning during the shootout, with him, Gags, and Richie as our selections.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Taurus

If you've been neglecting that special someone in your life over the past few days because you've been so busy with the festivities, try to make up for it today. Maybe you could have some time alone with them, or perhaps you simply need to remind them how much you love them. Don't be afraid to open up your heart to them, and to let them do the same to you.
