Fasten your seat belts, Wild fans. First-year coach Todd Richards has been preaching the gospel of aggressive, fast-paced hockey since he took the job, and who knew he meant his team would ride a roller coaster en route? It hasn't helped the team's consistency that guys are dropping like car companies.

I dont like the way the Wild are playing, leading and losing, coming back and winning and coming back and losing. Too many losses.

Why is it that other teams are skating through and around our defense. It looks like a video game, there is too much talent on this team to look this bad. They should have signed M.A.B though and not Hindy, and Zannon, they are way too slow.

You failed to mention that goaltending was the decisive factor in this game. Not that Backstrom was lacking, his defense maybe, but that the Sharks goalie was amazing. He was making saves to keep his team in the game. The Wild outworked and out-dominated the Sharks for 90% of this game. It should have been a 6-3 game if it weren't for Nabakov and a defensive miscommunication. |
