After fast start, a fizzle

Full story: TwinCities.com

Fasten your seat belts, Wild fans. First-year coach Todd Richards has been preaching the gospel of aggressive, fast-paced hockey since he took the job, and who knew he meant his team would ride a roller coaster en route? It hasn't helped the team's consistency that guys are dropping like car companies.

I dont like the way the Wild are playing, leading and losing, coming back and winning and coming back and losing. Too many losses.

Why is it that other teams are skating through and around our defense. It looks like a video game, there is too much talent on this team to look this bad. They should have signed M.A.B though and not Hindy, and Zannon, they are way too slow.

Richards is a retard, his press conferences are hard to watch, his brand of hockey are even harder to watch. I missed the good old days of hard nosed, tough Wild team. Richards' "up-tempo" style at all cost without no defensive responsibilities is going set us back to the expansion years. I am so disappointed in the direction Wild is going. Wild is regressing with this clown coach. We have no Superstar, and we lacked defensive responsibilities in our own zone in all our games. Please cut our loses and FIRE RICHARDS as soon as possible and find a coach who has a clue on how to play defense.

Bruce,

You failed to mention that goaltending was the decisive factor in this game. Not that Backstrom was lacking, his defense maybe, but that the Sharks goalie was amazing. He was making saves to keep his team in the game. The Wild outworked and out-dominated the Sharks for 90% of this game. It should have been a 6-3 game if it weren't for Nabakov and a defensive miscommunication.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Scorpio

If you haven't seen certain people during the past few days, how about inviting them over for a drink or a meal? You're feeling sociable and will enjoy doing some light entertaining although you'll draw the line at anything too strenuous. It's a lovely day for being in familiar surroundings with some familiar faces, even if all you do is flop on the sofa.
