Irony for all of the Gaborik haters. Havlat pulls his groin. Can you get over your envy because of your dead end jobs and admit that Gaborik was a star in this league? Probably not but it's in your face now.

That was the first game this year that I had a chance to watch, and it was quite frankly painful. It was like they didn't even care to be out there. Hopefully things will get better, and quickly.

This team is much worse than I thought. As much as I disliked Lemaire, at least he kept us in most games. This team looks like a mess. They need to get things turned around quickly!

I have a great job AND I've always stated that; when healthy, Gaborik is a top-five player. Havlat played with some talented guys in Chicago and Gabby's injury history was rivaled by Havlat.

As I'v said many times, Gaborik explodes into the offensive zone, Havlat glide through it.

Correction, the Wild let their best player go to sign a less-talented player for more money. The blame goes to "Riser" for Gabby and Rolston leaving and for leaving the proverbial talent cupboard bare.

For sure, Fletcher and Richards have their work cut out for them.

"Not ready to play"? Pour water bottles over their heads next time. RR's already tired of hearing it!
Big Ben sez "Offense is my game"? RR sez YES it is offensive! Shep looked okay last night, but any points? Nope. Put Butchy on the PP. Looks like they all have concussion-like symptoms. Now the Oil and 'Nuks? Great. Week 2 and we gotta rally up not to sink in Division. And by the way, how is it these guys supposedly can't free their minds of an old system that, according to most of the carryovers, they couldn't flippin' stand anyway?!!? Excuses are like a*******- everybody's got one

This is the fifth time in five games that this clown of a coach has made the comment that some players were not ready to play in the first period. Are you friggin kidding me?? Isn't it his friggin job to get these guys ready to play?? If they are NOT ready to play terminate these clown's contracts and get somebody else in here. Watching Zannon and Hnidy play defense is BRUTAL!!!!! why do we keep that plodding clown Sheppard in the lineup??? Has he EVER scored a goal?? If a check counted as a goal cluttercrap would be Gretzky!!! I would not be wrong in saying that THIS TEAM IS WORSE THEN THE TEAM THEY HAD IN THEIR FIRST YEAR AS AN EXPANSION TEAM. IT IS GOING TO BE A VERY VERY VERY LONG WINTER WATCHING THIS HORSE SH*T TEAM!!!!!!!!!

The Wild are still paying the price for Risebrough trading away the majority of our high draft picks and paying Johnsson $5m a year. At most, he deserves 1.5M. Bouchard $4m a year...ouch. Still a fan, but it's gonna be a rough October. New system, new faces and mindset take time to gel. Maybe we're looking at the first overall pick next year?

Havlat played with great players on the Hawks, GaBBY is playing with great players on the Rangers. Can't do it by themselves! IMO: need a new coach!! Why does he sit Havlat so much, "Oh, he didn't score a goal, so he sits" He needs to be out there more!

While the defense is God-awful, the offense has been more fun to watch than anything Lemaire ever put on the ice. I'll take Richards over Lemaire any day. At least he doesn't try to win games 1-0 and when it's over ends up losing them 2-1. How Shane Hnidy ever made this team is beyond me. The guy is the worse defenseman I have seen in a long time. He's gotten burned bad every game I've watched. And that half-a**ed clearing attempt that led to Perry's goal last night? That should have led to him being benched for the rest of the season. The guy is a bum.

Don't forget the fact that this team has no talent. That's not Richards fault. All he can do is work with what he has. Anyone remember that Patrick O'Sullivan and first-round pick (Trevor Lewis) for old-man Pavol Demitra a few years back? As I recall, the vast majority of Wild fans were foolishly excited about that. I was not one of them. How does that look now? O'Sullivan is easily one of the three best players on the Oilers and Lewis is already a regular on the Kings. Oh, and Demitra is still old and declining, but doing so with the Canucks. If only Risebrough had a clue. That terrible trade never would have been made and O'Sullivan and Lewis would be helping the Wild right now, rather than the likes of Hilbert and Smith (life-time minor leaguers).

Like most of the fans that posted on here, I am a big Wild fan, and I am frustrated. From year to year, we would like to see the Wild get better and better, and eventually becomes a solid team that can win in the playoff, and maybe can consistently compete for Cup every year. It hurts to see the Wild play like they are playing now under Richards' so called "up-tempo" brand of hockey. If this is the result of "up-tempo" hockey, can we have our old ways of "down-tempo" style back???? oh.... you say it is too late???? aw.... This just goes to show that sometimes changes doesn't always mean it is going to be better. Both GM Fletcher, and rookie Head Coach Richards should be canned for not getting this team to play 60 minutes. It is Fletcher's fault for not hiring the right Head Coach, and it is Richards' fault for not getting these players to play for him. It is Richards' fault for not stopping these players from making the same mistake over and over again. Why is it every single game, we are not ready to compete??? Richards, is it your job to make sure they are ready from the very first faceoff?? And Richards, how hard is it to pick a Captain from among the current Wild roster?? By not picking a Captain, you are sending the wrong message to your players, and thus they don't respect you and don't want to play for you. Are we the only team without a Captain in the NHL today? In honesty, I hate Richards, he is a dumb, boring coach, lacking any traces of leadership.... Based on the few games so far this year, as long as Richards is our coach, we are going to be permanent cellar dwellers, I maybe harsh but at least I am keeping it real. Fire Fletcher, fire Richards NOW and cut our loses.... thanks, come again.
Worst Wild team yet

I've watched the Blue Jackets and Ducks game so far this year; both were painful to watch. We can't score(just like for the past 10 years) and our defense sucks(Johnsson on the decline, Hnidy is an AHL player who cant fight at best). We have our usual B.S. callups when our pussy players get hurt (Hilbert, Smith). And Pouliot/ Sheppard are continuing to dissapoint. There is no team chemistry or intensity, and until that changes, we will continue to be the worst team in the NHL.
yeah sure

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Virgo

Someone is being headstrong and wilful, and absolutely determined to do what they want. Mercury is retrograde and it's a Full Moon in Cancer with a lunar eclipse all happening tonight! This could lead to some heated discussions and possibly even rows, as you argue the toss back and forth. It might be best to accept that there's very little possibility of reaching an agreement rather than to get locked in a stubborn battle of wills. Besides, you don't want anything to spoil what promises to be a very enjoyable New Year's Eve. Have fun!
