Ya-hoo! DUBIE! Way to play! It's funny how I was watching Dubie in Bridgeport at the arena in section 106 with my family a few weeks ago, and how now he's a full-fledged NHL superstar goalie. GO DUBIE!

To All My Fellow Yankee Fans:
I believe that its time for Yankee fans to come together, and rally at games calling for "one of the classiest, most productive players in modern Yankees history". Fans should chant Bernie's name calling for the return of No.51. Its understandable that there will always be an end to a career, but not in this fashion, and not for a guy such as Bernie Williams. Bernie deserved a little more from the Yankees, especially after last season (which he was suppose to be part-time only) and not to mention his awesome lifelong devotion to the team. If the big wigs in the office dont know how to show respect, then we, as the fans should show respect and call for one of the best players in franchise history (especially around Cashman). its halarious that you refer to this as a triump, this is one of the saddest and most disrespectful events in hockey I have ever seen, the islanders do not deserve to be in the playoffs, new jersey are rotten little buggers, Ted Nolan should be ashamed of himself for discracing hockey and not making the islanders work for their playoff spot, instead he just gave it to them, and its pathetic.

I take it you're a disgruntled Leafs fan. Well if the Leafs knew how to keep a 4-1 lead to Buffalo in the third period, or win when they really needed to, then Sunday's Isles/Devils game would have been meaningless. Toronto has a bunch of underachievers, and when your biggest superstar is Darcy Tucker, you have problems. Ted Nolan kept the Islanders focused when DiPietro went down, and he coached them in such a way that they earned the eighth spot. They were the team least in control of their destiny, and they are the team that earned a playoff series. |

haha, it doesnt matter, atleast we didnt get any free wins, yes we shouldve won those games, but then again you can say that about any team haha, im sure detriot shouldve won a few and wouldve had the number one team in the nhl locked up, but they didnt it just happens, but here you have the islanders getting a free win which puts them into the playoffs, is just a discrace, id rather see montreal in there right now then the islanders, atleast montreal earned it, im sure everyeone would be freaking out right now if the leafs just let montreal win so the islanders didnt have a chance, they would be like ohh booo montreal got a free win leafs gave it to them they dont deserve it, and the islanders dont, they shouldve had to work fer that win, which they didnt its sicraceful, and islanders and jersey fans wonder why they dont have that many fans haha, its cause jersey is a discraceful team that is only good cause of their goalie, and the islanders fans cant admit too when they shoudlve lost and been out of the playoffs, all day ive been seeing this haha its pathetic to think they are proud because new jersey just sat back and let them win, did you see the game? newjersey didnt even play till 5 mins left in the 3rd, all game they were just bassically having a warm up throwing the puck back and forth across the ice. |

Why should the Devils go all out in a meaningless game and risk injury? To make sure that the Leafs got in? Why should the Devils look out for the Leafs interests rather than their own? Clemenson did not play poorly, and they showed a lot of character to tie it up with under a second left. When a game goes to overtime or a shootout, it's anyone's game at that point. When it goes to a shootout, it's anyone's game. The shootout is now part of the game. It was not something added on the last weekend just to spite the Leafs, despite what all the media pundits in Toronto might be saying. The Islanders did what it took to get in, and the Maple Leafs didn't. That's the end of the story. The Leafs have nobody to blame but themselves. |

OK I believe the Isles beat your precious"no-cup-havin-in- two-generation-leafs" last week to put themselves in the situation where they could win and be in, dry your eyes as Lord stanely will only be in Ontario if Ottawa can win a playoff series. I think Darcy Tucker needs a caddie, why dont you apply for the job and get off our boards and figure out why your team is not playing hockey until october. Ok Mr. Leaf fan, my name speaks for itself. Why the heck would we risk our top liners who came back from injury on a game where we have nothing to lose? Im sry but if you thought the isles didnt deserve the win, then why didnt th eLeafs win last thursday when they played them OR better yet, why didnt you beat buffalo that time when you had them? You Leaf fans are dumb. Im sry the Devils didnt try til the 3rd to win (though i was laughing at that 1 second goal Sry isles fans) but what was the point? Isles deserved it. They're in, your not, better luck next year.
P.S. You wouldnt go any further then the isles will against buffalo. |
