I was at the game and in 25years that Ive been watching hockey that was the worst officiating Ive ever seen. Everyone is talking about the penalties and the no-goal that was ruled a goal. But what about everytime the Islanders rushed up the ice the line judges called offsides, can anyone tell me how many times the Sabres were called offsides. Also isnt it funny that 2x play was whistled dead by referees w/i seconds of Ryan Miller taking a puck off the helmet, once with Marc Andre Bergeron about to blast a puck through the net,yet on the supposed no goal DiPietro had the puck under him for at least 5-7secs while sabres were poking at it before it supposedly went in. WHERE WAS OUR WHISTLE!!! Last time I checked this was Hockey, where goalies used to be helmetless, so how is it that play gets stopped because a goalie takes a puck off the helmet, just because he plays dead. Ryan Miller should be ashamed to call himself a hockey player

This was a railroad job by Bettman and this new NHL to make sure that the Sabres, the leagues supposed "best" team, makes it past the 1st round.

You talk just like an Isles fan.....It's called Off-Sides......thats when an opposing player goes into the offensive zone before the puck. Maybe with this bit of information you can better understand the game and identify "off-sides". I hope the Sabres get there game together so you can see real hockey....you've been watching garbage too long. Quit whining.
