Are you KIDDING ME!!!!!!!! Did you even watch the game? Forsberg pulled him down over him trying to draw a penalty. Atleast the Wild's hits are legal hits...this is a direct response to how the Wild were beaten by the rugged Ducks last year...and you have the nerve to call out the Wild for doing what has been done to them for so long?

This is a joke right? Hockey is meant to be played by men...not panzies. If Forsberg and Sakic can't find space then our guys are doing their job...just like Colorado taking space away from Gabby...their defense is doing their job...thats why they have defense...maybe you should go write about Tennis.

Is this guy kidding? Star Trib just did an article about where is the hatred in this matchup. I have to agree with the star trib, you can tell that both sides are concerned with taking penalties, as they should be. I think it's a good series, and as far as the Forsberg issue goes, this writer must have side blinders on that only focus on Forsberg's face, because in the Hill episode, Forsberg had Hill by the head!!!!

Why is a st paul paper running an article written by some joke in denver? He must not have watched that game last night because there was definitely shit going down by both teams. That "dirty" play between Forsberg and Hill was a result of Hill being pulled down to the ice and a penalty on Forsberg. So, Pioneer Press, stick with home grown talent for hockey articles, we don't need to read something from a guy who doesn't really understand the game.

Worst article ever. Have you never watched a game that Forsberg has played? He's known league-wide for his flopping! He tries to draw penalties by grabbing a defender and falling backwards or instigating unnecessary contact to get retaliation. Seriously, how can you be a hockey columnist without knowing that?!!! And have you never played hockey before? Do you know how much hacking and behind-the-scenes pushing that EVERYONE on EVERY TEAM gets away with? This isn't basketball, this is hockey. Know the sport before you write a terrible article like this.

Is this a joke? The Av's got away with so much crap last night that the ref's should have called, it was pathetic. The Wild were playing against the Av's, a hostile crowd, and the ref's - and STILL came out on top. Deal with it.

I fired off an email to this clown this morning. seriously, if any Dives fan watched without homer glasses on they know the Dives got away with murder last night. Maybe the Wild will eventually get an evenly called game, but when you have to continually beat the opponent and the refs, it's hard to win.

This is way too hilarious to get angry about.

Yes, I agree the Wild are going out of their way to make Fallsberg miserable. But it's not like he doesn't have it coming. The guy does nothing but take cheap shots and dives and gets away with holding at every chance. I think the Wild have taking quite an approach here, making it known that Fallsberg will pay a price for going anywhere near a player, kind of removing his motivation to take dives.

And which team restorted to running the goaltender in the 3rd last night? Only way they can tie the game is on a bs penalty, or by landing on Backstrom.

And I'm sorry but in the 3 games the Wild have only been outplayed in one period so far (last nights 2nd). This series should't even be this close. If Jose Thedore didn't decide to hear his $5M+ all of a sudden it wouldn't be this close. Wild easily could be up 3-0 right now.

But the more outrageous the lie, the more denial the teller has. I think it's clear which city has the inferiority complex.

Of course all Avs fans are spoiled after winning the cup their first season out of Quebec city...

This has to be forgiven, either this guy was watching another game or his head is in a very dark place. Maybe its his first hockey game. There has to be a reason why he saw what he thought he saw. Go Wild.

i'm sure at this time last year you were still in journalism class, but if you had been watching the playoffs you would have seen the Wild get there butts handed to them by a much larger and more physical ducks team. Fortunately, Risebrough is not an idiot and learned from that and got some size to protect his skill players. Rather than whine about it i recommend you take some notes, pass them on to the brains in Colorado and hope for the best next year.

I love it, another gutless sportswriter who'd rather cry about losing one of the best games of the season than embrace the fact that it was genuinely a good hockey game. Last time I checked hockey was a contact sport and I'm sure the Nuggetts will have an open tryout next fall if your Avelanche can't handle a physical hockey game. Oh yea, and Cody Mcleod was a saint last night, his "hit 'em in back and get off the ice as quickly as possible" attitude does wonders for your Minnesota Maulers argument. Next time you want to write an article about hockey you need to bite your tongue, it's way too obvious you have no knowledge of the game.

Wow. Talk about yellow journalism. I guess if your home team can't win, you make it sound like the other team is nothing but the Hansen brothers. That's bad sports journalism there.

Ha...I didn't read it was a guy from the Denver Post...that makes it funny actually...oh my poor Avs got beat up by the mean Wild. BOOOHOOO!!!!!!! Our "Goons" make those AVs players shake in thier skates...I can't believe these guys are grown men.

If this was figure skating the AVs would win hand down...but fortunately we play hockey here in Minnesota.

If this series is such a bloody mess, how come there hasn't been any blood? I don't remember seeing even one fight, and 0 cheap shots, from either team.

Fedoruk, one of our "tough guys" has been one of the biggest offensive contributers...

This is a guy that has never played hockey and is p*ssed that he has to cover the game. If I was his boss, I would fire him, or move him to a section where he can give advice to teenage girls having problems with thier boyfriends.

The PP should be embarrassed by this article. The hometown paper has done a terrible job all season covering the WILD but this is by far the most rediculous.

This guy is a joke! This is playoff hockey and you need to be physical. Forberg is the biggest actor. He is a turtle...cheap shots people then runs and acts like he got the raw end of the deal. Booguard needs to just drop Forsberg. This guy hasn't seen many playoff hockey games if he thinks it's about finess. It's about toughness. And as far a lucky bounces, that's what hockey is most of the time. I mean next thing he'll say is that tipping a shot in for a goal is just some lucky bounce and then he will cry about it.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Gemini

Mercury will backtrack through your finances over the next few weeks, which isn't a very seasonal thought if you're already well aware that you've overspent this month. Be prepared to do some juggling or to seek expert advice if you're worried about how you're going to cope. You may be kept busy handling inheritance, tax or insurance matters, preparing investment analysis, and allocating funds for the repayment or collection of debts.
