And had the Wild lost the game this article would have been about how the Wild just aren't playing defense any more and were giving the Oilers too many open shooting lanes.

I didn't read this article. But boy, what a horribly worded sentence! Is it absolutely necessary to reference death when we're talking about hockey?

Kevin - That is just plain dumb, of course if the Wild lost it would have meant their defense slipped.. Duh!! Get a Clue!
