Did you ever think that maybe he has a life outside of being a goalie and decided to devote time to things that matter? What kind of fan are you to only like the Sabres when they win every game? It's not the goaltender that's the problem anyway, you can't win games on good goaltending alone, we need to score genius. Miller wrote: Maybe Miller should concentrate on his job as a goalie

Now I know why people hate Buffalo. What is the matter with all you rude people! What don't you understand about this? It's a charity for sick little kids! For OUR city's Children's Hospital! If you think it's too expensive or if you hate the Sabres right now because their not as good as last year, keep your rude comments to yourself! And whats with the puck slut comments? Are you mad because a Sabre wouldn't give you a 2nd look?

its too bad since it is a fundraiser for poor little sick kids at childrens hospital that it is not more affordable for all to go..you would think that seeing as they are trying to raise money for charity that they would make the price a little more reasonable so more people could go and donate their hard earned money to childrens hospital...............

Look, stop hating on Ryan. He's doing the best he can. He's a man and not a machine! I hink that some fans should get a clue and realize that these guys are people and sometimes, just sometimes can't win games. So, get your butts off the couch and you try to get out there and do what he does. Oh Ryan's still my brickhouse!

Now, I'm not a hockey fan, but I do know a bit about sports. Just one more thing, he only protects the net...there are a bunch of other guys who get paid to score goals, right?

I think that this whole event is a great idea. I don't really have the money to go, but friends of mine are going this year after all the talk of how much fun it was last year. Hopefully there will be some more videos on the news from the event =) ps: Ryan Miller never said that the Steadfast Foundation was becoming his new job.. I'm pretty sure he is still dedicated to working hard on the ice. Shut up and give the guy a break.

i would like to say thank you to Not That Cheap for putting this event into perspective. some folks not only don't understand the fundementals of an event like this, they just don't WANT to. and there is a BIG difference! maybe instead of running their mouths and making bad comments, they should take a look at the whole picture. it's time that we, as a whole, stopped being so judgmental.

You guys didn't miss a thing the food was bad, the guys were not cool at all. I went to the one last year at the church and that was 10 times better. This year was not worth $50, last year was well worth the money. I will not go again next year i can think of better things to do with that money

Yeah, yeah, yeah...and there was no place to sit, and it was hot, and the music was too loud.... Let's not forget...if you don't think you got your 'money's worth' out of it, just keep in mind...we weren't paying to go to a party...we were donating money to a very worthwhile charity...there are a lot harder ways to give your time, effort and money to help other people...all in all, I think it was worth every penny! Ryan Miller and everyone who worked hard to put this event together deserve our praise and congratulations for the wonderful job they did and for all the money they were able to raise.

It was a good time. The food was good, the drinks were good, and the fashion show was good. The auction went a little slower than I would have liked...but what are you gonna do. The music was great and all of the players were very approachable and very nice and a pleasure to talk to. This event was a solid good time and well worth the money and then some!
Lets not forget, this was a charity event for sick kids....everyone that has a problem with it should shut up and get a life.....try educating yourselves with some of that free time of yours!

I went last year, and it rocked! The atmosphere, the fashion show, the food, the drinks was all equally amazing. The players were fun to be with. It was well worth the money. And let's not forget, it's a CHARITY EVENT! This has NOTHING to do with the Sabres winning or losing. Ryan Miller started the Steadfast Foundation with his father when his cousin was diagnosed with leukemia. This foundation helps people, especially children and young adults deal with their illness. It helps makes things more comfortable. So let's all focus on those things, rather than the Sabres team winning or losing.

I just want to say that i have a few loved ones who happen to be batteling cancer and i agree cancer is not a game.I think that it is way wrong to complain about the price. No matter the price all of the money will go to a very good charity. I think that all of you will realize when you have a loved one who will die of cancer $175.00 is not alot of money to help save a life of a loved one. And lastly i just wanted to say that not only in the future will i totally be a suporter of charites like this but i will be Ryan Miller's WIFE... don't doubt me.

Nice comments "Mrs." Miller and it's so true what you said about charity. It's very difficult, my mother is a cancer survivor and any research support is helping to find a cure.
I must also add that please, recognize my title and back off of my man....lol.:P
