It makes sense with Kane at center, but he's right about having to learn the position at NHL level. His size makes me a little nervous, but he seems like a natural at center, so why not let him give it a try? He could really click and it would solve some roster problems. What the hell...Go Hawks!

So Tallon had all of the off season to put together his roster, and now at the beginning of training camp we are told the Hawks are thin at Center because of the Robert Lang trade. Just brilliant.

I would not say thin, I would say young and talented. Bolland, Kontiola are both very good players, and thye showed that last year.

This was Kontiloa first year in the states, and Bollands first year with the big club. Both play 2 ways, Robert Lang refused to play D and took night and shifts off.

I would much rather have these 2 kids than Lang. You have to go to the games to appreciate the digging and board work. Lang never did those things, and it is a shame he was a big dude who played like a tiny dude.

Lang is not the answer that the Hawks need. I have no problem with the Hawks trading him, he is getting old and you could tell that he didn't have the energy or power to keep up with the fast pace of the game. These kids can play but watch one thing. I still believe that the Hawks are going to package Khabby and a defenseman for a good forward. I was at the game last night, and I am so happy that the hockey season has started. The majority of the players were the young kids, but they played pretty well. Lots of fights, I hope Friday night they play some of the veterans.

I'm not a fan of Kane moving to Center.

1) It breaks up the Taser, Kaner, and Sharpie line.

2) Still don't think Kane's defense is good enough to be a good two way center that the Hawks really need.

I agree with most of you, in that, we need to use Khabby to get our Center.

There are problems concerning money today, especially if someone thinks they aren't getting their fair share of it. Mars turns retrograde in your house of public matters, so issues from the pat will need to be dealt with in weeks to come. Sort things out quickly, before they become even more fraught.
