You have to admit, Gordon was right they would take 20 games into the season to learn the system, well they have and are losing every night proving again Snow and Gordon both must go.

The only saving grace is that maybe the Isle's can win the John Tavares sweepstakes, unfortunatly, with the Isle's luck,if they draft him,he will be a bust,if they don't get him,he will be a star.

It's time for somebody to wake up Mr. Charles Wang and get him to fire Garth Snow and Scott Gordon . Nothing these two clowns have come up with is working , and the Islanders are the laughing stock of the game . We need a GM that is not a second string goalie , and a manager that understands Major , not Minor League plays .

And to think I paid for the center ice package to see my team lose night after night. I recorded the pittsburg game but never watched it when I heard the score. Atleast with Nolan they had defense. Again two goals tonight happened with shots from the points. Heck they score a goal with five Islanders around two columbus players. They were out played. I saw the game from the Columbus affliate. The had a game plan and stuck too it. Gordon needs to go; this system doesnt work in the NHL.

Um..the reason why Wang is keeping them and hired them in the first place was to ensure he could pull all the strings. He's got a lot of puppets in Mgmt over there.

I enjoyed my night last night. I watched two movies and slept well. Glad I didn't waste another 2 and a half hours watching this garbage. This goes beyond blaming the players.

Let's face the facts. Islander management is not interested in putting together a winning team. Charles Wang is a real estate developer who happened to stumble into buying the Islanders.

Ever since 1993 the plan has been to put all efforts into eroding the Islander fan base to zero. Look at the transactions look at who been here to coach and take a look at management.

There's no such thing as a "respectable" loss!!!!They lost period end of story!!!AND While were at it these refs with their quick whistles (see Don Vanmassenhoven)that puck did go in unbelieveable. Now were losing to middle of the road teams. There's no reason Nash should be able to do what he did last night he's good but he's not that good, yet.I don't know what to say that hasn't been said I know theres still two weeks left in the year but if were losing with these guys time to clear contracts and see what we can get before it's too late and go from here.Time to be a realist but I have to remind myself it's Garth Snow as the g.m. nuff said."Help us Mister Wizzard!!!!"

ok RANGERS fans above, pipe down. the ISLANDERS need a NEW arena first off, not a renovation.. everything new. Charles wang's plan is great..same idea as the Columbus Blue Jackets arena. it provides jobs social areas and parks. if it wasnt a good plan..then nobody would be saying the Columbus Blue Jackets is one of the nicest arenas!!. Scott Gordens plan with the young players is perfect, along with his playing system, we need the right type of players to play in this system as well. we need to spend our money on the young talents kids. a good start will be to get a goal scorer. WE are headed in the right direction..it takes time and a big part of the job is to make the NEW arena plan work. i know my hockey. so town of hempstead PLEASE help us out. Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
