Since the senators beat the red wings and the Islanders beat the senators that automatically means the Isles are the best Team in the NHL!! As Chief Wiggum would say.....Nice Work Boys!

Just off by a couple inches.. we would have seen another Islander goalie score a goal.
(and yes DiPietro should have had that one!)

I concur with the above... and it's also nice to see MAB and Freddie stepping up with the injuries to Martinek and now Witt. Martinek is injured way too often so it's good that these guys can step up.

Let's just hope the team isn't too happy with themselves. That seems to be the when the go on cold stretches.

Also, nice first to games for KO in Bridgeport. Maybe there's some very good things on the horizon.

I did miss the first period tonight since I was watching Dallas go down. Nice work, Giants.

This was hands-down one of the most solid games the Isles have played all season!!!

Points in 10 out of their last 12 games... a winning road trip... NICE!!!

Another solid win for the Isles. Let's hope they can keep it up. DP is becoming one of the elite goalies in the NHL.

This was a big confidence boost that was needed! It was playing together as one team! Even DP stood tall...except an antic or two...but showed control!

i guess it's splitting hairs, but shouldn't DP get a star?? maybe Alfie got it for breaking DP's shutout? you automatically get a * for scoring on DP... i guess that's a compliment (?)
