Again, Jack Martin is using te EXCUSE that a FLUKE goal cost them the game. ENOUGH! This team is a JOKE!!! Even the attendance in TN is better than here. Another amazing thing about this third world hockey market is that they don't broadcast every game. You are forced to have the Center Ice package to watch local games. The total organization and system they have down here is a JOKE!!! Get rid of Jack Martin before another season is lost.

if they continue to play this way, blowing games late, the BAC will look like a mauseleum. only 12,000 against philly? cmon, move this franchise to quebec city , winnipeg or hamilton. south fl. is NOTa hockey area, despite what comm. bettman proclaims.there is some talent on this team and fans in Canada would show up

Jacques Martin needs to be fired.....as coach and GM. He is not the guy for this team. This team is young and needs an emotional disciplinarian, not the emotionless, Martin. He may be a great coach, but he isn't the right guy.

It's useless to post anymore. Just like our hockey team, I've been there, done that. Unlike the players on this team - and the coach, I refuse to say the same things day after day.

Well, Panthers fans...

I hate to say "I told you so..", but "I told you so"!

This organization is truly a joke - from Ownership to Management to Players.

Anyone who buys season-tickets to this bumbling clown circus needs to get their head examined.

We need new ownership - someone who can instill a winning culture, where losing will not be tolerated.

Listen you Canucklehead,

If I recall, Quebec AND Winnipeg each had a team and lost it because of poor attendance.

With a multi-decade lease on a dedicated arena, this team is not going anywhere. Any new owner would have to keep the team here in So. Florida or pay millions in restitution to the taxpayers of Broward County.

PantherGoal:

You are obviously the typical Panther "Fan," who has never watched hockey in a real hockey market. Firstly, they, under no circumstances, will they ever be in the top 12 in attendance. Even if you throw in the 8-10k fans from the opposing team showing up. Yeah, the Miami arena had a lot of bandwagon jumping fans showing up, but keep in mind the arena held like 12k fans. Secondly, I have never seen the circus/carnival atmosphere at a hockey game like you see here. I'm waiting for midget to be fired out of a cannon. Do they still have the monk hitting that thing from the Gong Show during breaks in play? I can go on for hours about this, but I can tell you in real hockey markets the focus is on hockey, not quasi stripers. What would this team draw if it was not for the Flyer, Ranger, and Red Wing fans (to name a few)? I agree, move the team to a market that will support them. With cheap air fares and the DirecTV package I can still follow my team. Anyone who tries to put a positive spin on this team is obviously new to hockey. Why are they 10 million under the salary cap? They will never do what, or spend what it takes to bring a winning team to the ice in this third world hockey market.

Here's the hockey market I am from..my family has owned Islander season tickets 1972-1985, including FOUR STRAIGHT STANLEY CUPS. You my friend are a horses-!$$. The ONLY time I've seen 8-10k fans from the opposing team are when they play Montreal, Rangers, sometimes Toronto, sometimes Philly. Detroit? Haven't seen them here in years..So, yeah..let's move the team...IDIOT. This IS A GREAT hockey market. Hear that? GREAT! IT's the product, and where I agree with you..PACKAGING that sucks. Original six Boston, Chicago draw flies when they are down..Should we move them too? Those are great hockey markets. Your logic is crap, and since you're a Buffalo fan, I wonder if you think that the SABRES should have moved when the team was bankrupt, and you were a breath awayy from that team moving due to attendance issues. Bottomline you're clueless. I've personally watched in person my original favorite team hoist a cup two times out of the four in a row...Just when did the Buffalo fans do this.
Also, It's the Florida Panthers FAULT that they played in a 14,000 (not 12k) arena?..They did fill it..and would have filled more...Once again..you're a jag-off
I'm a Flyers' fan, not a Sabres fan. For you to say this is a "great hockey market" is absurd and further shows what little you know about hockey and hockey markets. I once worked for the AHL Phantoms and can tell you Florida is regarded as a joke in other parts of the country. An example of a "great" hockey market would be Philly, who sells out the Spectrum and Wachovia Center on the same night in the same sports complex. That is almost 40k people attending pro hockey games in one city. Other examples would be Detroit, Toronto, NYR etc. I guess it is all what you're looking for at a hockey game. If you want mascots, monks, stripers/dancers, FREE Tickets and artificial hype, Panther games are for you!

It could be a great hockey market here if the Panthers organization would stop trying to compensate for the horrible product on the ice with these circus like antics. The team is a joke, and everyone in the league knows it. It hurts me to say it as much as I am sure it hurts you fans to hear it.

The Panthers would have more and better fans if they could just do something worthy of people paying attention to their play. Right now they just have a few of us, who see through the endless specials, promises of playoffs, and pathetic commercials, and understand the game and to what level the Panthers team will need to reach to be competitive.

Year after year, we are dissappointed. Each year it is the same dissapointment with a different spin. I am beyond sick of it, I am at the point that I refuse to throw large sums of money at the organization any longer out of protest for this mismanagement.

I look over across alligator alley and I see what the Lightning franchise has done, and I am jealous. I never thought I would be jealous of the Lightning.

This team is either the unluckiest pro sports team in sports history, or they are one of the most incompetent. I betting on the latter.

Here's to the numbing of these bleak years in hopes of a silver lining...someday.

Say no more! In additional to your "endless" hockey knowledge, you forgot one thing! Nothing you say holds any water with me-just read what you have written! On four different occasions in your rant, you used insulting, demeening phrases! Idiot, etc!-Real class my friend! Panther fans like YOU are the reason I did not renew my season tickets this year, not the team! I refused to have my family subjected any longer to the verbal obsenities, etc so freely used by the foul mouth fans around us, not to mention the Ice Strippers-ah I mean Dancers! You my friend are a real gem! You must have started that hokie tradition of the fans saying PANTHER GOOOOOOAL after they score, which is not that often!
