Jason Williams wanted to return to the Blue Jackets. In a perfect world, the Blue Jackets would have re-signed the winger after the way he sparked them in the second half of last season.

It's disappointing to lose Williams. He certainly contributed while he was here. If the BlueJackets have talent enough that they could afford to lose him, that bodes well for the future.

as a wings fan i wished you guys would of kept him. we already been there down that with williams.

I think he is better than we think, he just needs to be on the right line to move the puck.

He was the right handed shooter the Blue Jackets needed. I thought he proved himself last year. I hope they have made the right decision with letting Williams go to free agency.
