Thank Goodness. Some fire and toughness added to the lineup. I could not watch another game with other teams pushing our guys around. It was absolutely disgraceful when A. Peters takes a run at Forsberg and members of our top line have to go after him. I am glad to see Eager in the line up it has been a long time coming. Contrary to belief but it appears that fighting and heavy checking are up this year. The toughguys of the league must have had a "union" meeting to ensure thier jobs stay intact. When a team like Detroit is dressing a toughguy after all these years something is up. Anyway kudos to the Sabres cause they kicked our asses. Maybe the changes made will ensure something like that won't happen again. Once again glad to see some hunger, fire and toughness added to the lineup and bye bye to the deadwood.

Why these three guys? Ok, Nedved wasn't scoring and he was awful 5 on 5, but he's been really good killing penalties. Dimitrakos seemed to click with Carter and Umberger last year, and he's only making $675,000. Baumgartner just got here. If it was me, I'd let go of Hatcher and Esche.

We are not looking so good this year.I am REALLY glad to see Eager in the lineup, maybe people will think again before they take a run at Forsberg!! I think we need to bring back THE FRIDGE!!I would hate to say it but I think Esche needs to go,,then again,,everyone we trade seems to become one of the top players in the league!! Justin Williams,,Rod Brind'amour just to name a few. And again,,Why did we get rid of Handzus?? Handzus,,now Nedved? I guess we don't like to keep anybody that plays good on penalty kill!! I hope it starts turning around soon,,I am getting an ulcer from watching the games!!
