is there a reporter at the courant assigned to the Wolfpack? All of these snippets about the games say "Special to the Courant". It would be nice for the Wolfpack to get enough coverage in this newpaper to let people in the Hartford area know what is happening and possibly get them to think about attending a game. With little coverage here and HD radio/internet broadcasts only, no one even knows that the team still exists.

The ice hockey coverage in the state is virtually nonexistent. And when we lose our AHL team with no replacement in sight, let us all remember how our local newspaper barely hit a key-stroke to promote the local and historically successful team and sport. Connecticut is a college basketball state to be certain and for good reason given the tremendous success of the UConn programs, but the Wolf Pack represent a great resource to our community and add something to our city as well. We will lose this team to another city, just like Binghamton lost out to Hartford 11 years ago. The NHL will not be coming back to Hartford as too many other more viable options exist, especially considering the dearth of corporate support locally. Embrace what we have and take a chance on a sport that can be as beautiful watch as any in the world.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Libra

If someone owes you money and you're beginning to think that you'll never get it back, this is an excellent day to chase them up. They may not cave in straightaway but at least you'll have had your say and done what you can. Watch out for a tendency to lose your temper, because although this could be quite dramatic if you're usually the soul of equanimity it could work against you if you become aggressive or unpleasant.
