So your player gets elbowed in the head and knocked out for at least the rest of the game and you respond by doing nothing. Not only is the team not good enough because of rebuilding but also a bunch of push overs. Gordon is not a good coach peroid, how can there be a cold player on the bench, why was he called up then, and there is a fear of taking a penalty. Come on.

so were down a few goals and our player just got cracked, but good, and your afraid of sending mitch out to take care of business? you dont want to be down another player? hell, just let everybody run us over, you suck as a coach, go back to the AHL. and the rest of the team, after seeing, the gutless coach isnt going to do anything, hell, all of you should have been out there swinging. the devils have no tough guys, just cheap shot goons. im here in MA where their minor leauge team plays and they have no fighters here either, their team gets killed each night, so its not like their a big tough team. stick up for each other, your coach isnt.

It was a blatant hit to the head...we were sitting right there, just below the blue line, top of the circle...8th row...a perfect view...after the game we asked the ref why didn't he call it, he said Franz wasn't hit in the head. This is absolute b/s...on the way home on the train even the Devils fans said it shouldv'e been a call, unquestionably a suspension...a lot worse than the Pock hit. The refs should be fined,,,the talk on the train continued between Islander and Devils fans and all agreed the officating has been terrible...what the hell is going on. You can take a player out and just walk away...it was unquestionably the turning point of the game. The Isles weren't playing great very flat, lousy passing, but they were in it at that point...and I don't know why Gordon didn't put Fritz out to do what the refs should have done. In the NFL refs are fined...why not here...bs just absolute bs. everyone in the building everyone, including all sports writers saw it,,,4 refs and nothing...Trent gets the boot...b/s

SUOZZI MUST GO...SUOZZI MUST GO...SUOZZI MUST GO...last night my first game at the Pru Center...a sensational arena...what the hell is going on here on Long Island. We have a billionaire who wants better for the county, the Island, the team...SUOZZI MUST GO...the Island deserves better. It's time for Islander fans to begin the grassroots effort to make sure SUOZZI is not re-elected. IT'S TIME FOR SUOZZI TO GO...this lifetime Long Island resident is going to lead the charge...you hear that SUOZZI, WE'RE COMING YOUR WAY...enough with Charles being the nice low key guy...SUOZZI GRASSROOTS WILL START AT THE VETS COLISEUM....

Good point. And Nielsen was having what was easily his best game as an Islander.

Wussing down the team after that hit was the icing on the cake. Scott Gordon should be fired. Today. He's a coward. And cowards are losers. I hope the players let him know by not putting their bodies on the line (2nd in the NHL in blocked shots)because Gordon does not deserve a 100% effort from any Islander after wussing out. If Billy Smith were on this team and Arbor behind the bench, twelve Devils would have lost their legs and gonads.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aquarius

Someone is being bombastic and overbearing, and you don't like it. You aren't prepared to take their behavior lying down, but standing up to them is likely to result in a rip-roaring row. Well, it seems that the row is almost inevitable, and perhaps that's just as well because it won't do you any good to swallow your anger or tolerate this person's boorishness for much longer.
