Memo to Avery. Please try to control yourself! If this game was in Washington, that dopey hit would have cost the team 5min major. Good teamwork. Good to see Drury and his gutty play. Lundqvist once again proves that you can ride good goaltending all the way. Lets go Rangers!!!!

This game we did not steal fella"s as I thought about the first 2. Although I was not happy about Avery tonight the Blueshirts would not be where they are without him. He's gotta keep himself somewhat under control cause the Caps PP will kill us sooner or later if he keeps it up. 4th win is gonna be biotch but I am hoping for the best. Simply put if the Blueshirts stay on the attack they can beat anyone. That said it's gonna be tough.

same old caps. The bruins are NASTY. Size, speed, depth, as good a goalie as Lundqvuist. Better forwards, and yes even a better and larger defense than the ranger$ haha. Nice job ranger$ but you wont be able to sit back and play defense on The B's. THe caps are an offensively powered team that can be rattled. The Bruins have a great defense and also a great offense. They can hit, score, do whatever. I know the ranger$ have one more game to win and that wont be easy, but beating boston even once wont be easy. Twice?? You guys can have a mini parade. Wings vs. Bruins in the finals

The only thing you have correct is that the Rangers havn't won yet. The playoffs are all about match-ups and hot goaltending. Im not going to look ahead. You should do your homework. Heads up bos-nyr were 2-2. Both of bostons wins were both 1-0 at home(hardly dominating). NYR wins at home were 4-3 and 3-2(shoot-out). I won't deny that the Rangers have issues on offense. However, thier defense has been strong and still claim the best penalty kill. The Rangers have held Olvechkin to 1 goal out of the million shots he took.

In 1987 Huey released this, Fore!, their most
accomplished album. I think I heir undisputed masterpiece is
"HiP To Be Square," a song so catchy that most people probably
don't listen to the lyrics. But they should because it's not
just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of
trends. It's al~ a personal statement about the band itself

WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH TOPIC?

Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis
fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before
that I really didn't understand any of their work. It was too
artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins'
presence became more apparent. It's an epic meditation on intangibility, at the
same time it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding
three albums.Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks,
Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance
of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In Too Deep" is the most moving pop song of the 1980s about
monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting.
Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything
I've heard in rock.Phil Collins solo efforts seem to be more commercial and
therefore more satisfying in a narrower way, especially
songs like "In the Air Tonight" and "Against
All Odds." Sabrina, don't just stare at it. Eat it.But I also think that Phill Collins works better
within the confines of the group than as a solo artist-and
I stress the word artist. This is "Sussudio," a great,
great song, a personal favorite.

This is the year fellow Ranger fans I can feel it it in my crotch. "Queen Hendrik," Sean Avery, Captain Chris Drury, Scott Gomez and Norris Trophy candidate Wade Redden. How can the Rangers not win the Cup with that array of talent?

Ovechkin beat "Queen Hendrik" three times in the third period last night. Two shots hit the cross bar. Shoot high on the "Queen" and he can be beaten. The Rangers won the majority of faceoffs in their defensive zone, which was huge. Will the Rangers win the Cup? Unlikely considering the best teams are all in the Western Conference where the real hockey is played.

you do realize you islanders fans say the same thing every round right

"you guys have no chance against (opponent from round 1) you will be swept. Ha big deal you made the playoffs"

"yeah (round 1 opponent) wasnt that good of a team, you definitely will lose now"

Its kinda sad. Same posts for years.

BTW games like last night are the reason why I will take a playoff game over ping pong balls anyday. I pity that fans of your team havent felt that excitement in a loong time (the excitement of knowing you can win a playoff series)

Of course.... 1st it was the Caps beating the Rangers...

The Pens will be killing them....

We get the message..You hate the rangers. It kills you that they win playoff series when you have never seen your team win won. I know it sucks what are you gonna do.

But at least bring something new to the table. According to people like you, the rangers would never win a game. We'd kinda be like the...hmm what team would that be

They are bound to be right one time huh? or are they?

Thats the joy of playoff hockey. They wouldnt know much about that. The last time they even had an inkling of a chance to win a playoff series was 1992

It so stupid how jealous they are....

When the Isles played Toronto a few years back and the Rangers were out of the playoffs, I didn't root against the Isles...

But I guess years of ineptitude and falling down to become the perrinial punchline of the NHL will do that to ya....

Hank is god.

So true. I actually rooted for the Isles w/ my friends who are Isles fans in that Toronto series because I despise Darcy Tucker. But the morons who post on these boards are getting tiresome with there inane comments...

"Rangers won't make the playoffs"
"Rangers will get swept by the Caps"
"Rangers will lose in 6"
"They may be up 3-1 against the Caps, but they have no chance against the Bruins"

It's the playoffs, anything can happen. But, if it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy to wait for the Rangers downfall by making asinine predictions, well, good luck with all that.
