Did Greg Logan actually watch any of the 2nd period fight?

I'll fill you in putz! Thompson went after Rivet.....landed on his back and was jumped by Adam Mair. Berenheim then charged Rivet. Out of the 50 or so punches thrown....maybe 5 or so were thrown and landed by Berenheim. The rest of the time he had 2 fists of sweater and was staring at the ice. He was hit so many times on the top of his helmet that it probably needed to be surgically removed.

Mair and Thompson exchanged blows. Both had a few good shots and took turns on the ice which could be looked at as a wash, at best....

Witt was tossed like a rag doll by a much smaller opponent. The best of Witt was scrapped of the ice. The real question was what hit first, the gloves, the puck, or Witt's melon.

Hey Logan let me know if you need help with game of Hockey. You clearly don't understand the game!

In case you weren't watching I will tell you what happen. Thompson and Mair were jawing with each other prior to the faceoff after the 4th goal was scored and once the puck was dropped the gloves went flying and Thompson and Mair started fighting. Then Rivet skated over and jumped thompson and took him down then Bergy came over whippied his gloves off and started punching Rivet and didn't land much. Then Witt started with Kaleta after that one was broken up and it was a tugging match til Witt was body slammed to the ice and hit his head then he started punching Kaleta in the back of the head after removing his helmet. Then after that was broken up Thompson and Mair wnet at each other a little more eaching landing nice punches. Then right before the linesman got in Mair put a little cheap shot to Thompsons kisser.

Before you start criticizing others to watch games and what not why don't you try and take your own advice.

Gooooolllllly, Clem......

I guess I don't need to watch it now with your excellent explanation! Thanks for that. EVERYONE ELSE... ignore what I wrote because, according to my new best friend Clem, I shouldn't have an opinion!

I went off memory and wasn't about to "research" to make my point. Bottom line, Logan tainted the article by inputting a biased POV. My comment was made to point out the fact that a "professional" is unable to report an event without including in his feelings. If he so full of emotion, write a novel!

Anyway, the attempt to swing momentum with a fight failed, Quite miserably!! The Isles lost the game and the melee.

Thanks Clem for calling me on it and backing it up "cliffs notes" and a video. Now I don't have to read the book.

Dude, you're allowed to have an opinion on these Islander boards.....as long as it isn't negative to the Islanders or if it IS negative towards other teams especially the Rangers....they are a touchy bunch these Isle fans...

Is that Passion???
Sorry but we are a touchy bunch you know, BTW is that Hockey Mom Sarah Palin drinking a Guinness on your ID???

Jon Bon, I mean Ron So-Gay was telling the world how he has the hots for her on Hockey Night Live the other night.

Look at the bright side everyone, at least Snow won't take a goalie with the 1st overall pick...

keep up the good work, eventually, someone will get a laugh out of it. Careful of what you think Snow is going to do; your goalie hasn't finished the last two seasons healthy and he's one concussion away from being a carrot. You Islander fans knew Snow was going to trade down in last summer's draft ? boy your keen
