The only hole on this team is the one sitting at the GM seat. The guy who sits there now is ineffectual and unqualified.

Typical Jacques Martin stupidity. He starts off saying that the team is short on centers and forcing people to play out of position - no sh_t, Sherlock - but then goes on to say that the current roster is full and that the players they have are capable of turning things around.

Which is it, Jacques? Do they need additional centers or not? Do they have room on the roster or not.

And yet another brilliant comment - he didn't want Parrish, a proven scorer and gritty player, because he needs a center. Hey Jacques, did it ever occur to you to put one of your weak link wingers, like Peltonen or Dvorak, on waivers and replace them with someone who could make a positive contribution in key areas where this team is weak - namely goal scoring and grittiness?

Unbelievable!

It is stunning that Martin and Yormak are still employed, when the Panthers failed to even consider obtaining proven scorer Parish, who then signed with Dallas for DIRT CHEAP and on a 2-way contract!!!! Cutting Peltonen to get Parrish is a no-brainer, even for a brainless fool like Martin. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Mr. Cohen, get rid of the Panthers' upper management!!!-- or better yet, sell the team to an owner who will actually care about putting a winning product on the ice. Gosh, you might even get people to come attend games, which just might even make you some money on ticket sales! Wow, what a concept

Red baron, you beat me to the comment. I thought the same, the big hole of this 'organization' is on the management office.

Isn't Center Horton's job? How about you get Shanahan to at least shore up the wing or maybe call a real GM for advice....goodbye, goodbye, goodbye....please!!!!!!!!!!
