who says we have no offense?
the whole team is offensive. |
The sad part is that this would have been a shut-out for the desert dogs had the puck not bounced off Zednick's skate. This team is actually getting worse as the season progresses.
I have nothing else to say anymore. I am lost for words after this game. I would love to be so bad at my job and still get a paycheck. JM is sooooo bad and he is still flying around with this team. FIRE JM NOW, what in the world are the Panthers waiting for?
Pathetic. In most losing streaks, a team experiences bad luck from time to time. In this losing streak, the Panthers are lucky the losing streak is not longer.
This team sucks...

EVERYONE, PLEASE EVERYONE, E-MAIL THE PANTHERS AND LET THEM KNOW YOUR DISPLEASURE WITH THIS GARBAGE!! PLEASE STATE HOW JACQUES MUST GO!! IF THEY HEAR IT ENOUGH..JUST MAYBE SOMEONE WILL LISTEN. 1 or 2 stinkin goals night after night, Where the HECK is Wade Belak when your team is down 3-1?? He should be out there running people and gettting your team FIRED UP! That's how ANY coach who's lost 5 in a row and now lost a lead would react, but , no, there is no STINKING EMOTION on this team!! Weiss was a MINUS 3...sorry, but thats INEXCUSABLE!! Vokoun needs to sit and ANDERSON needs to play NOW and NEXT game and NEXT GAME after that. Notice how you hear any comments from Vokoun when he's lousy himself!
PLEASE EVERYONE--EMAIL THESE 2 people and they DO READ IT. COHEN will never answer anyone, but Yormark does. YORMARKM@SSELIVE.COM COHENA@SSELIVE.COM |

I'm dying to know.....
Anyone still think Martin is a "genius"? Anyone still think we have the best defensive line-up in the Eastern Conference? Anyone still think that trading Jokinen was a stellar move? Anyone still think this team is playoff ready? Anyone still believe it was wise to bring in an inexperienced NHL coach for an underperforming team? I'm glad some regular posters are finally "getting it". However, I can see how mental instability still afflicts those who don't want to admit or believe that this is the worst team Florida has ever iced in franchise history. Even the inaugural team was better. Munch on this morsel. Florida is now the only team in the entire league with single-digit points (9) in the standings. They are dead last and lost to the worst teams in both conferences using their backup goaltenders. Their PP and PK percentages are amoung the league worst. Their shot totals are a joke. Meanwhile, our illustrious GM sits on his hands and does absolutely nothing as our new coach gets raked across the coals night after night trying to create something out of nothing. Welcome to Panther Country. Have we met? |
Already did. Multiple times each season. They either don't get it or don't care. When they promoted Martin as GM (with no experience) after he destroyed the team as coach, I knew we were done for. I just don't understand how Cohen can succeed as a businessman. If this is the way he runs his companies, how did he ever become successful? |
I have no idea how he still has a ho today. FYI, the schedule so far has not been very hard. When do you think the next STATE OF THE PANTHERS SEASON TICKET HOLDER WILL BE? They are already out of the playoff hunt, mark my words on that. Congrats JM, your AHL team won a game and now is an impressive 2-10, boy our future looks bright. FREE TICKETS ANYONE |

Judging from the past, the next likely move is for Martin to fire DeBoer. Watch him either take back over the team on an "interim" basis. If he does get someone like Tortorella, it won't take long for the new coach to realize just how weak the lineup is, which puts the pressure back on Jacques. If the Panthers haven't wised up by then, that should be the final straw and Martin will be fired. We will then hear about how this team is rebuilding and a bright future awaits.
In the interim, Bouwmeester will be traded, which will be followed by a series of leaked comments from "unnamed sources within the organization" that question Bouwmeester's committment to winning, his talent and his work ethic. However, the Panthers will get taken to the cleaners once again on that deal because every other GM in the league knows they can take advantage of the Panthers. Hey, whoever they trade for might just pull a Kilger and refuse to report, bolting to Russia to play in the CHL instead. |

At what point do we give up as fans? Watching them play is actually demoralizing.

“Yes we did! ” Since: Mar 08

Oops, this is a Panthers thread. Sorry. From the title, I thought it was another recent article about Sarah Palin.

Disgrace
Goodbye Martin. Good riddance.

Scotty Bowman was available last summer. If Cohen had any clue he would have cleaned house on the hockey operations and started over just like Huizenga did by hiring Bill Parcells. Scotty Bowman could have done the same for the Panthers as Bill Parcells is doing for the Dolphins.
Why didn't they hire Torterella as their head coach? He's a proven winner and known entity! Maybe JM needs to take his big head out of his ass.
WHY? Why is this happening to us why can't this team shape up? Why can't they rebound from bad seasons like the Heat and Dolphins have done (so far). Why? some one just tell me i meanthis is just so sad.
When they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. |
Yeah.. so, Um. The panthers lost again.

I'd like to see Gorten interview Cohen and ask some tough questions.
1. At what point does the owner admit that his original hiring of both Keenan and Martin was flawed - meaning that Martin is as much of a failure as Keenan was. 2. How can the owner allow his employees to backstab former players once they are gone? Does he realize that it is hurting them in the free agent market? 3. What does the poor start by the Amerks portend for the youth who are supposed to be this team's future? These are players who couldn't crack the current Panthers' lineup, even though the Panthers are among the leagues weakest teams so far. 4. How does the owner explain Toronto's ability to totally rebuild over just one off-season and show immediate gains, while the Panthers' ongoing rebuilding program has never shown any real gains over several seasons. 5. Does ownership have any concrete ideas how to fix the problems or are they just going to come out with a new marketing campaign that attempts to mask these issues. 6. Was the ad campaign featuring Van Murph the result of realizing that they they didn't have any "feature" players. Quite honestly, you had to think there was going to be a problem when the team features one of its fans as the "face of the team" in its new ad campaign instead of one of it's players. The Coyotes give out Jokinen bobbleheads and the Panthers feature Van Murph in its TV ads. |
