As Michael Frolik perfects his scoring touch, the rookie Panthe...

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Four shots, no goals. No shame for a 20-year-old who was playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League mere months ago, and who started the season on the Florida Panthers ' fourth line.

Frolik is great, and as much as I don't like Martin, give credit where credit is due... a couple of notes on Skolnik and this article. Hagman had 27 goals and a breakout year with Dallas last year. Huselius has had 20 plus goals in 5 or his 6 NHL seasons and had over 30 two years back. Most of the time playing for a coach that hates him in Mike Keenan. We gave both those players away for not much (Huselius for Montador), Hagman for a 3rd rounder which probably ended up being traded for Kilger. By the way, as far as bad drafts in Panther's history, the worst one is probably the number one pick we gave to San Jose in a 3 way deal for Viktor Kozlov that ended up in Tampa's hands..that number one overall pick ended up being Vincent Lecavalier.

Scouting for this team has been an utter disaster over the years. Funny how this article conveniently forgot to mention such first round "gems" as Anthony Stewart, Lukas Krajicek, Denis Shvidki and a host of other disasterous acquisitions and trades. Anyone remember Novoseltsev. All he did was skate so fast that he crashed into the boards. When these bozos were squandering first rounders you look at what teams like Detroit found in the later rounds and it almost makes you sick to your stomach. It seems only statistically probable after so many years of scouting ineptitude that eventually this club would stumble over someone valuable. Now the question is how long will guys like Frolik and Booth want to stick around when they figure out that this is the farm team of the NHL. Hopefully DeBoer can convince them there might be a future here.

Please let Frolik be the answer! we need a big time goal scoring threat. That is what's holding them back.

RED BARON AND FIRE MARTIN---great insight. Wow, Montador and Novo. remember them? Novocaine? We had a couple of years where we picked #1 or 2, and what do we have to show for them? Not much. I hate to keep thinking of us as the NHL's farm team, but indeed we are. It's amazing how well our ex-players do on other teams. Even Stu Barnes!!! And where is Christina Wells?(As Neil Rogers used to call him).

And fans...please..Stop with the Booooo whenever Booth touches the puck. It got old the same day you created it. It's tacky, it's immature, and it's annoying.

Frolik is a real bright spot on this Panthers team. When you see young players like Frolik, Booth and Weiss, you know this Panthers team is on the rise. We should be back in the playoffs before long.

Well, we did the same thing for bookaboom in the 90s at MSG for years, it never got tired, it never got old. He said he enjoys it.
Also, it appears as if you might need to change your name...

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Pisces

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
