Guerin's hat trick in win his first goals as Islander -

Great win tonite. Whats with cable only showing the game on chanel 14. The Over Rated Rangers in HiDef losing to Atlanta, The team from Jersey in hi Def...Chuck Sucks lets all get FIOS.

Once again the brilliance of Ted Nolan comes out on the ice...a shift in lines,,,a hat trick...yes, yes, yes. Oops almost forgot,,,the Rags really do suck, losing to 0-6 Thrashers.

What the hell is the deal with Jersey getting better coverage than the Isles. Same crap every year. What the hell do the Isles have to do to get some respect?
And what about the disallowed goal? Those morons in the "War Room" are complete imbiciles. The puck was clearly off his shoulder. They obviously have something against the Islanders just as we saw in last years playoffs. Makes me sick.

Even if you get FIOS, you still will not be able to watch in Hi-Def. Cablevision still owns the TV rights to the Isles and does not broadcast the "overflow" games in Hi-Def. I love how they call it the Isles Pre-Game Show but there is barley and Isles coverage and when they do talk to an Islander we have to listen to Mary Jo Kaufman. Can't we get a person to cover the team who can ask some interesting and meaningful questions?

Guerin sounds German to me not Irish, am I wrong?

rangers are in Hi-Def because cablevision and the rangers have the same owner...it should be illegal

I'm glad they won...but you can't blow 2-0 3rd period leads. We got lucky that the caps took some dumb penalties and Kolzig didn't play that well.

That being said, great win...2 points on the board. And way to go Rangers...losing to the 0-6 team and giving up 5 of thier 14 total goals scored this season

It's all the problem of 1 city having 2 teams. Fan base is divided amongst the two and its not like baseball where the teams can launch thier own networks.

Billy was born in Worcester, Ma but grew up in Wilbraham. His great grandfather came from County Kerry Ireland hence Guerin is an Irish name.

If that is the best they can do with Hi-Def, why would anyone buy it?

I would love to see the Isles work out a deal with SNY. It seems like a perfect fit. Islander games must draw better that beach vollyball.
