This team is showing plenty of heart right now without their top scorers and going up against the elite teams of the NHL. I'm very impressed and it really seems like they are adapting to Deboer's coaching style. Let's win these 2 at home and hopefully some people will come support them at the BAC.

The management has been stellar. Allan's putting JM in just the GM role was pure genius. JM's doing a great job as GM, not to mention making a great hire in DeBoer. All 3 have this team at the top of their game and playing the best hockey in the NHL! GO PANTHERS

Beating the top teams on the road without Booth, Horton, and Stillman speaks volumes for how good this team really is. Credit to Allan Cohen and JM for putting together the best Panther team ever!

Solid win....very impressive.

Now, let's continue this streak. Buffalo is definitely winnable. But, Boston is doubtful.

Panthers win the next several games and they earn their props.

Let's hope this continues.

Yes, that's what I am talking about. Panthers win. This team is starting to come together, and they are playing hard and tough despite the injured players not in the lineup. Gee, it is fun to be a Panthers fan.

That's 2 points, Wouned Panther, even though our defenseman Ballard is so very old.

And Yormarks Observer, how sad you and Red Baron must be that the Panthers are winning. It must just ruin your day to see a Panthers victory.

But us true fans? We love Panthers wins. We love shutting out the Rangers and then beating the Caps. We support our Panthers through thick and thin. Not like your type---losers who give up on their team and constantly post negative.

Oh, and one more thing:

GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst team ever presented to us. They totally suck, and and and they are so terrible!

They what? Whaddaya mean they won 5-3 over the first place team in the Southeast division after beating the second best team in the conference 4-0 in Madison Square Garden, and having gotten 8 of the last 10 possible points? How can that be? But, but, but, YORMARKS OBSERVATORY and his buddies told me the Panthers were going to get whooped tonight... Dang... How am I supposed to sleep knowing the worst team that's ever been presented to us has had such a phenomenal week?

Oh well, just wait, Buffalo and Boston are coming to town this week, and then we'll see how smart these heroes really are! Long live NEGATIVITY!!!

Yormarks observer, redbaron, wounded panther, and all the other negative spinners who claim to be tough love fans of this so called worst panthers team ever........ What do you all have tosay now??? I cant ait to read about all the negative twsts your goin to put on this. Wounded panther: even if they lose one of these next 2 games it dosent mean jack!! You are just waiting to jump down there throats about a loss!! This is the style PD brings a, hardnose, gritty, down low, attack the net, hard forecheck kinda game. Now lets get ready of horton let Andy and TVO battle for the start. the cats dont have a backup goalie to come up yet and why trade to receive another goalie when we have 2 that can hang. Now lets workn winni Bou over at least to the end of the year.
So again all you negative dirtbags go find a team that you actually like and can get beind and go cheer them on and leave your negtive talk for the bench at you weekend softball game

Great. Here's some reality for you - Panthers, as usual, are still not in the top eight teams in the conference.

And as history always finds a way to repeat itself with this team, there is no way they will keep this pace up. Like everyone else, I've certainly enjoyed the last few games. But they always get bored or tired or both of skating heard night in and night out, and eventually they start to take nights off.

But in the meantime, enjoy drowning in your kool-aid, boys lol.

Dude, call me when they are in the top eight - and consistently holding one of the top eight positions. They've played two or three good games (if you think NJ and NYR last week at BAC was more effort than luck, you are an idiot). Two or three games does not make a season. I seem to recall them playing two or three good games capped off by a 4-3 win at home against SJ. Refresh my memory, what happened over the next ten games that followed???? hmmm?????

Credit to JM and Cohen? You've got to be kidding. This team is winning in spite of Martin's screwups. Hiring DeBoer was the only smark move he's made. And don't think that Martin "found" DeBoer, cause he didn't. Everyone in pro hockey was aware of DeBoer and he was being courted elsewhere too.

As for the missing Panthers, it should be clear that this is a better team without Horton. Perhaps the trade that was needed was Horton last spring and not Jokinen. Maybe he was really the problem. Maybe Horton was the bad influence on Jokinen.

One more thing - mark my words: as Bouwmeester goes so do the Panthers. No coincidence that he picks up another point and plays just 27 minutes (instead of his previous average of around 29 and sometimes as much as 30). If they can get him down to just 25-26 minutes a night, he will easily break all of his previous scoring highs. All those who cry for a Bouwmeester trade will be sorry when he's gone. They really need to find a way to sign him.

The psyche of this team is slowly turning to a bunh of gritty scrappers.I still do not think they have the talent to keep doing this but I will give DeBoer the credit here.Bouwmeester is even showing more emotion now.We got a flukey goal tonite but the last 5 games were solid for a team with below average talent.Frolik continues to improve and now if Stewart and Tarnovsky can score on the 4th line it would help greatly.Anderson turned in another good performance and is more consitent and less tempermental than Vokoun. If we beat Buffalo and get one point against Boston I would become a believer.Remember every time weget to .500 we suffer a collapse-I hope this does not happen again.Backchecking and hustling have made the difference.

Huh. I have the hockey package and totally forgot to watch this game. A season ticket holder all but the last two years, I guess I'm finally loosing interest. God willing this team will turn things around and attract my attention again, but we all know that is exactly what it will take. An act of God.

And He's got a lot more important issues to deal with.

Here they come, like cockroaches out of the woodwork. Jeez some posters on this bulletin board are incredibly stupid. Sure the Panthers put togther a 2 game winning streak against a couple strong teams, but that doesn't mean anything. In fact, it is making their chances of getting the #1 draft pick that much less. If you recall, this team has already dug itself into a major hole in the standings. These guys need at least a five game winning streak just to even catch up to the other teams currently in the playoff realm. Frankly, flame away all you want to but this team just doesn't have the talent. Sure I give them credit for showing heart and not throwing in the towel already, but in reality the Ranger game was a stinker freebie and the Washington game was a myriad of lucky bounces including a self-goal. If they manage to do that two or three more times in a row I would eat my words, but I don't see that happening. Soon fans will see that this team will revert to its old ways again and find creative ways to lose. They always do. Sorry to be negative, but that's been the fact for so many years. I wish I were wrong, but it is the truth. Every win is only cementing Martin's position as the worst GM in the league. Only DeBoer's coaching is trying to save his job and reputation.
