Will somebody please dissolve this awful franchise already? Minor league coach, minor league players, clueless owner, ENOUGH ALREADY.

This team stinks and no one knows the cure.

Hey fans. Some good signs today. I liked what I saw. Mannino is the next Patrick Roy. And definitely Okposo should be rookie of the year. Did you see the pictures of Mickey Mouse he carved on the ice, while skating around aimlessly. Superb. I look at it this way - the team had fun and no one got hurt and the Boston fans had some laughs, so it is all good! And my commitment to you, dear fans, is that during the month of February, we will, at a minimum, lose on game in OT. That is progress!

This happens to every team. The Islanders have been playing pretty good hockey, especially when you factor in their low skill level. Gordon has done a good job implementing the system and Joey MacDonald has played way better than anyone expected. It is going to take them some time to be able to handle a high pressure period, but they have dominated the play of at least the first two periods of a lot of games in the last month. I actually, for once, have some faith that they will get their act together.

Agreed- the games have been heartbreaking though. This loss was understandable, but the blown leads are just an emotional rollercoaster for the fans.

We've been overachieving the last several games, and it showed today. I'm not overly surprised ... disappointed that the run didn't continue, yes. My biggest gripe is the fact that no one made Lucic (or one of his mates) pay for the uncalled hit from behind. Back in the day, there would be retribution -- either inside or outside the rules -- but that deserved a response. We need more than just muckers and grinders who score the occasional goal, we need a Laraque-type player to keep opponents from running our guys over.

Oh, well....

This was not the game to send Fritz back down to the minors,The Bruins have a big powerful team this year, and sending Fritz back down to the minors was kinda dumb by Gordon!!
I'm seeing Witt and Sutton make really bonehead plays lately, not what veteran defence are suppose to be doing at this stage in career.I'm really disappointed with the poor dicision making on all parts, management and veterans, they all should know better by now!!

LOL. Bellmore trailor park has his Okposo agenda, but does not even realize that he is not playing due to injury. So, trailor park, how does Okposo carve anything into the ice when he is not on it? Hmm? LOL! Rag fan at his best. Next thing you know, we'll be hearing Bellmore talk about how well Jagr and Shanahan are doing for the rags this year. LOL!

I'm sorry, Isles fans don't talk about their team? I was actually responding to a rag fan posting "Potvin sucks". My response commented on the relevance of that quote to his favorite team. As for the rest of your comment, is that English? You'll have to have your mom re-type it in something resembling sentences in English for me to understand. Thanks

Boy am I glad I signed on to be DP'S agent and got him that 15 year contract. It sure is nice to get paid and not play. Well, gotta go and see how my other client Mr. Marbury is doing.
