Now, don't get me wrong, the Bruins are a decent team. However, I thought the Leafs carried the play for a lot of the time. 6 goal posts and they had a ton of chances. These last two losses have me really pissed off cause they are both games where the Leafs have heavily outshot the other team. I feel jipped.

On the other hand, I know most Leaf fans want them to lose so that they get a draft pick. Me, hey I know they need to rebuild but I can't just cheer against my time like that. I enjoy a win when I do get one.

Toronto did outplay the Bruins in the later half of the game, But 5 hit posts and Toskala's bad playing in the Kessel goal seemed to doom them early. The B's have got to learn to keep up the pressure for the whole 60 minutes, something they haven't done in a majority of the games played thus far.

So D, the more I see and hear about Wilson, the more impressed I am. He seems to have gotten through to Blake, and the country club appears to be officially closed (it's about damn time, too). What are your thoughts on the "accountabilty" approach Wilson has taken?

I also think the Burke man-crush is coming two years too early. If BB takes over the Leafs now, I fear it will be a quick end to the youth and rebuilding slowly strategy. This guy will jam the Leafs against the cap as soon as possible.

A lot of Leaf fans seem to be upset with Blake still with his me first attitude. A few nights ago was at least the second time he had been benched. Wilson has been effective, but the Leafs haven't gotten much to show for it the last few games (but you can really see that they are playing hard). They've lost a lot of games that I felt they should've won this year. There is definatly a difference between this year and the past few 10 years or so. You don't try out there= you don't play. Pat Quinn didn't bench a lot of guys while he was there. The accountability is good cause in the past, they would always try to talk the talk, but not walk the walk. They also play a smarter defensive game. It would help if Toskala could save a puck once in awhile though. I don't know what is his problem right now. Right now, he's stinking the joint out but I know he can do a lot better then he has been lately.

Lol, I wanted Tim Thomas to die last night just cause we got so many chances and he just wouldn't budge lol (ok not literally but I can't say I was too happy with him!). He seems to have really come along the last few years. The year before last year he was a bit inconsistant but last year and this year from what I've seen he's been pretty strong.

As for Burke coming to Toronto, I could care less really. Fletcher has been doing a nice job so far and he's just as credible if not more then Burke is.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
