The Hawks have recalled defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson from Rockford of the AHL and Quenneville said he might play Wednesday.

Finally, maybe Aaron Johnson can watch from the press box!

I don't know that Johnson's playing that bad other than some a couple of bad penalties. Before his injury he had one of the best +/-'s on the team.
We'll see how Hjalmarsson does. He showed flashes offensively last year but had some problems in his own end. What the heck happened to Jordan Hendry. He looked so promising last year, looked terrible in preseason games and now has apparently fallen off the depth chart.

Hjalmarsson is barely 20 so i'd cut him some slack before I cut journeyman Johnson any...Hendry is nothing more than a #6 or 7. I think the Hawks have higher expectations for Hammer...

BFM is right about Johnson, he played so well then he got hurt and has not been the same since. Tonight is going to be an interesting game, how many fights are there going to be in the 1st period. There is some bad blood there between these teams and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Lets Go Hawks bring us fans another home win.

As long as Sharp's not dropping the gloves...Need to break out of the scoring slump and beat the Blues tonight....GO HAWKS!!

I take it you didn't win the $1 million, Tim?

That was the craziest thing. I told the wife Sunday night that nobody was ever going to win that million dollars and I'll be damned if the first game after I said it somebody won. When Havlat scored somebody behind me mumbled something about a million dollars so I looked at the clock and damn near s#@%! I probably would have if I had been in 326. Tim, buddy, missed you by one lousy section. It was pretty cool though cause the UC was cheering for a mid season goal that cut the Wilds lead to 2, but 326 was cheering like we just won the Cup. Jumping, arms flying all over the place. To think that some season ticket holding schmuck like me (well, he's not like me anymore) went to a Hawks game and came home a millionaire (before taxes). Very cool!!!

Yeah it was one section away from me. Actually where the guy sits is one row in front of mine and around the seat area. I can't believe it that he won the money. 1 million, how sweet that would have been to win it. Now lets see if they keep that program going

I would think the odds of it happening again are astromonical. But then again, I was the one who said it would never happen period.

i said the same thing to my girlfriend the day the promotion was anounced "pointless,no one will ever score at the ten minute mark all year"
now i cant express my opinion about anything to her. thanks marty. how did the fans around him act? happy or giving him a good natured hard time?
makarov has 3 goals in his last 3 games, dont be surprised to see him in the lineup next year along with skille. now if i can only get season tickets my investment could pay off one day...

We were all laughing at the promo when they first made the announcment. We thought no one is going to win that, and then the 3rd night of the promo, BAM someone wins it and the section was so close. I thought if that was me how cool that would be I was wearing my Havlat jersey and I have already met him before.

BFM are you going to be there tonight??

Now that would be a huge thread if we were talking about athletes that have not lived up to the money they were paid.

It's about time Makarov started to heat up. I've been following him and haven't been impressed with his KHL output...Beach - 6 goals in 6 games with Lethbridge.
