Biron looked good after a shaky 1st period. To score 6 against NJ in NJ is impressive. Now lets get that defense up to snuff and we'll be unstopable.

1 in a row. Let's beat them again today. It's about time the Devils are our whippin' boys. Go Flyers!

The Rangers have had the benefit of having the easiest schedule in the atlantic division so far, and are going up against 7 very beatable teams...We'll see where the Rangers are at the end of December. They've been getting some decent scoring balance with Drury and Zherdev scoring 7 goals each, so far, but the real reason the Rangers are where they are so far is because of Lundqvist. The Sabres got off to a similar start in the 2006-07 season, and we all know what happened to them. December and January will test the Rangers mettle...

I'm not ready to believe in the Rangers just yet, because Glenn Sather pulls the same shit every summer, by going out and buying FAs with question marks (Zherdev, Redden, and Naslund). I'll say that Zherderv and Naslund have performed well, but Drury and Gomez are both -5 in the plus-minus category, despite Drury's 7 goals. Again, Lundqvist has done a great job bailing the team out. Redden has been okay, so far.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Libra

Get out and about whenever possible today. You're feeling energized and will want to keep active at every opportunity. Leave the car at home if you can and walk to your destination instead, or have a brisk walk in your lunch-hour. It will be even better if you can take a brief holiday from your usual routine and find some different surroundings for a change.
