I saw him take a cross-check to the back of the head in Philly last year that sent him to his knees, and the stupid Philly crowd went into a frenzy of name-calling, accusing him of diving when it was obvious he was hit and didn't even fall all the way down. You guys are still buying into Ken Hitchcock's stupid ****, even when the evidence is completely against you. But go ahead, indulge this weird Philly pathology--it just makes him play that much harder against you. I guess you know more about hockey and Crosby than other NHL players based off of 1 play.....

No, but I think you're cherry-picking your quotes and implying that all or even a majority of players think Crosby is anything other than a hard-working, team-first guy. Sure, the Flyers yap about it (after Hitchcock put it in their heads), and Alexander Semin yaps even more for some reason, but who else is out there complaining about it? I've never seen a poll done.

As a Flyers fan , I hate Sid and he's a punk. As a player he is one gritty bugger to play against and plays with all of his heart and an edge coupled with world class technical ability. I think the whining earlier in his career was just a maturity issue, Mark Recchi used to really let him have it and it helped him tremendously. He's a h/e/l/l of a player

I take grief on a regular basis from Flyers fans who love to shoot their mouth off to me. Funny thing is I never talk smack. I've learned over the years that it's best to let the games be played and a big grin when it's all said and done.:D a big grin... that is a really AWESOME comment :):0 :):)... the pens did beat the flyers.. i read that in the paper recently.. Thanks :):) for the UPDATE.... I would NEVER shoot anything off towards you because you seem to know more than nostradamus or merlin does.(ESPECIALLY RESULTS OF EVERYTHING.. How do you do it...?):):) Please though do not take my grief over being a flyers fan.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... Now im just devastated.....:(:(.

Eeyore wrote: <quoted text> Yes, Flyers fans are quite vocal that there is no talent anywhere else in the league. I've heard Flyers fans bash Gretzky, Lemeiux, Brodeur, Hasek, etc. Apparently, if they play for another team, all players s*ck. Funny how that works. There is a vast amount of talent in the nhl (NEVER SAID THERE WASN'T...) crosby is a really GOOD player gretzky was GREAT when he played. Lemeiux was also GREAT as well. Brodeur and hasek also. But be relieved that crosby is in a class by himself he is GOOD...:)

TheTrout wrote: <quoted text> What a stupid comparison. Crosby and Ovechkin are completely different players. Ovechkin is an amazing scorer, Crosby can score but is much more focused on dishing out assists (and is much better at that than Ovechkin). Ovechkin is a showman with an outsized ego; Crosby is the ultimate team guy. I'd challenge you to find any examples of Crosby being a "wuss." He plays hard ALL of the time, he fights when he has to stick up for teammates, he drives hard to the cage in every game. Your image of Crosby is just part of the Philly fan's mythology and has no basis (at all) in reality. But hey, cling to hating Crosby since it's all you have to cling to. That and wondering which skill player you'll trade away next to get another brain-damaged fool like Carcillo. Have a fun offseason. boo hoo another waddler making me upset....:) crosby is a very GOOD player! brain damaged fool???? wow that is anugly thing to say.... Are you sure your not the upset one right now.. Ill bet if carcillo was not brain damaged he would probably ask you this: Do the letters F.o. mean anything to you...:)

And Carcillo may or may not be brain-damaged, but he sure acts that way. He might just be trying to fit in more easily in Philly.

Waddle waddle, wobble wobble. The Pens won another series.... Now I need my hubby's Bruins to win game 7 tonight, so we can have fun needling each other over the games. As a side note: My infant has a wonderful wobbly penguin that he loves to play with. My toddler has a waddling penguin push toy. So yes, penguins are waddlers AND wobblers.
