I do believe it is time to get rid of this coach. He is giving them nothing as far as Offense.

Fire him tonight and bring in Tortorella and let him kick some offense into these guys. They are just not responding to this coach.

You are overreacting here. Give Renney a chance to get this offense to gel. He's only had 60 games this season; there must be some line combinations he hasn't used yet. How about those two goals they got late? That's an encouraging sign. They really had the Flyers on their heels for a couple of minutes.

When you also consider that Prucha was active for this one, that's an extra obstacle for the team to overcome. They needed Voros to neutralize Philly's superior size, speed, chemistry, preparation, toughness and skill.

And once some of the long-term contracts expire in four or five years, Sather can get to work on reshaping this roster. I mean, the 12th time's the charm? Right?

Take a moment and recall where the Flyers were two years ago, relative to the locals. And see what the two front offices have brought their respective fans in 2008 and 2009. Then weep for the Knicks of the NHL....

Marek needs to stick to soccer. This team skates aimlessly around with not a clue as far as 'O' pass and shooting.I always support the coach but clearly this team needs a kick in the arse Renney isn't it.Is Avery the answer? No but he can only bring improvement.Thank god for baseball.

Believe me, I do not want Renney just as bad as you but the reality is he will AT LEAST finish out the season. I love John Torts but there is no way Sather hires him, plus even if Slats did want him he could not sell that to Dolan because it makes too much sense :)

Roszival totally gave up chasing Richards on that shorthanded chance.

Awful game.

0-5 in afternoon games. Today was the first time they scored in an afternoon game.

The NY stRANGERS are pushing hard for the record of 70 seasons with one Cup win.
The Big Shot Blueskirts are choking again.
And now this year they can't outspend everybody.
Not that outspending everybody ever helped them. Except for the year that they bought the dynasty team from Edmonton in 94.
I guess buying ten of the top twenty All Time NHL scorers didn't help either.
Get over it stRANGER fans. Your team is cursed.

5 on 3 and scored on shorthanded - I thought they gave up on him too. I didn't think he had any legs left and at first thought he shot it wide.
Again, the over passing on the Rangers power play and at even strength is ridiculous. There were at least 3 times Gomez, Dubinsky* and (I forget the other player) had REALLY open looks and chose to pass it off.
Heard the "Fire Sather" chant over the TV.
The booing on Redden is getting worse and I'm surprised the announcers didn't comment on it.

*what happened to him??? Invisible!

Mara's out..pick up Witt from Isles for Dawes.
Sign Avery
Sign Jagr, the KHL is going bankrupt anyway.
If this fails, fire Renney and Slats at the end of the year.

Looks like they are missing the locker room effect on player accountability Shanny had

I hate the rangers as much as the next guy but to say there in worst shape then us is a bit excessive. Given they need a guy who can score consistently and maybe a dman who didnt play like he had his head in his a$$ and a few other things including chemistry in the locker room. The only thing the isles have from that list is chemistry while they dont have a dman who plays like he has his head up his a$$ some of our dmen are pretty bad. See Thomas Pock! While I disagree in that the isles are in better shape then the Rangers I do think the Rangers are in some trouble becuase they have no cap room. They aren't going to sign anyone in the offseason because they have there money locked in on guys like Redden LOL and Rozival OMG LOL! Also Quenn Henry who looked just amazing today especially on the 5-3 and the Glenn M. goal. Henry Sucks! I know what you guys are going to say, you will say something like well hes better then DP or at least hes healthy. Those are getting old!
