BS. The Isles were facing a team that just went through a coaching change. Better watch out Tampa is creeping up on last place.

Oh no, lookout. Sean Avery and Torts are gonna bring the Stanley...early playoffs exit back to Manhattan. Yay!
And it only cost how much to do that?
Like $5 billion Pesos?

The Islanders are not an easy two points, but two points nonetheless.

It was all on the line against Montreal. And then, kick save and a beuaty by Yanni the Danni and Superstar Okposo has the puck, he shoots, it hits someone in the backside and richochets in the net and Fish Men win, they win! eh, but still last in the NHL...

1 in 70, Little man, 1 in 70. Your glorious team couldn't even win when the NHL was six teams. 1 in 70, Little Man. Now go to your Dora the Explorer site.

Why do you care so much about the past? Yes the Rangers did not get the job done when the NHL was six teams, fine. But what have the Islanders done since 1983? Nothing. What bragging rights do the Isles really have. Stop clinging so tightly to the 4 dynasty years and tell me what positive accomplishments your team has achieved since then.

No, Joey MacDonald, who suffered an undisclosed knee injury against Toronto. Yann Danis will get both starts with Peter Mannino serving as back-up. Hopefully Mike Dunham doesn't need to re-activate himself!

I'd like to borrow a Met's phrase from the 1980's.... Bring your kids to see our (Islander's) kids!

People forget about 1993. That was a glorious run for the Islanders. I would just appreciate it if people said "what have the islanders done since 1993." instead of 1983.

There is no reason to assume that comment had anything to do with Guerin. He has had good tings to say about Guerin many times, why forget that? He already said how he was disappointed that Campoli couldnt make it work here, and I think Comrie getting thrown in that deal is evidence that wasnt working out.
