Blue Jackets 5, Kings 3: Nash goals propel Jackets to victory | The Columbus Dispatch

One of the trademark signs of true stars is their impeccable timing. After the Blue Jackets' key grips and stage hands kept them alive in a fierce struggle with one of the Western Conference's better clubs, it was captain Rick Nash who came up large late in the game. Full Story

What will the most pathetic loser in the world from Westerville have to say about this great win. The team never quit and played hard. You can post under as many different names as you want, but we all know you are the same pathetic piece of crap that is a total waste to society. Please do us all a favor and lick my taint.

"Nash is lazy and no leader. The team is a bunch of quitters. The coaches don't know what they're doing. The tickets are too expensive. Wah, wah, wah."

There. I've said it for him to relieve his carping tunnel syndrome....

I can't help but wonder what Ken Hitchcock is thinking these days. Watching a team that is virtually unchanged from last year give this kind of effort, score goals, play an aggressive and uptempo game.
It's still early, but I could sense a difference even in the pre season games. What a refreshing sight to see the Jackets playing GREAT hockey.
Go Jackets!

Whooppee. That makes only one win, last night, and their season is still only in early November. Call us when they are still doing this winning in late March 2011, and are firmly in a playoff spot. I believe only what I see on the ice, NOT, what all the fools in this comment box have to say. We have been burned far too many times in the past by all the hype about this team. Whooppee

Who is this "us" you speak of? Are you admitting you have multiple personalities that all live in your parents' basement with you?

Go Jackets!
Silence the doubters.

And there is the reply from the biggest loser imaginable. What a pathetic turd you must be. Still waiting for you to lick my taint.

It amazes me how other teams can go out and make trades for example Calgary Flames and Carolina 'Canes.
But we Jacket fans have to sit here and watch the pathetic Jackets. If the reason Jackets can not make trades because money woes please tell us.
So we do not have to stew about this team.

Have you not seen that the Jackets' record is 10-6? Did you not see last night's game? Do you know they're 5-1 on the road?
Please, enlighten us on your position.

At this point in CBJ history unfortunately wins do not matter unless it translates into higher attendance, and better home efforts, you can only draw 10-12k for so long in this league and survive, come on fans lets start filling up Nationwide before its too late

It'll turn around. You know that it usually does when football is over.
Remember, last year at this time, Colorado was in the same boat.

I agree Dave, but Colorado also has a basketball team sharing expenses on the Arena and that is what is draining the revenue

Nationwide Insurance will eventually do something to straighten out the lease. They have too much to lose if the Arena District were to fail.

What really hurts Nationwide is it competes with the Schott for events, look at Nationwide schedule for January only 5 events booked, American Airlines arena in my hometown has 23 events booked, it is going to take alot more than winning for this venue to survive I love Columbus but it is not big enough to house two major arenas from a business point of view. And Ohio State will triumph over Nationwide Insurance everyday of the week76

Agree with you about the Schott. If it were up to me, Gordon Gee and his fiefdom would be imploded tomorrow at sunrise (with the exception of the medical center; we'll keep that.)
Gee did everything he could to steal an arena from downtown (state money was set aside for it) in 1994-1995. He went to the legislature and got the county's money for the Schott (which, BTW, for a fairly new arena is incredibly sterile, ugly and in a lousy location.)
Gee is a louse, and his family (judging from the Dispatch story on his "sainted" daughter) is following right along.
