Even with the bias (or stupid) NHL officials and their giving Drury that BS goal, the Rags still found a way to lose. Kind of scary though to see that the NHL will not go against the Rags in even the most obvious of calls. Drury, who is over over 6 ft on skates, hits the puck near his shoulders and that's not a high stick? Fleury was even jumping to go after the puck which means it must have been pretty high.

I'm assuming when you say 'people who actually watched the game' you mean 'Ranger apologists who think the Ranger$ never do wrong'. They meet once a week in the trash bins behind MSG. I think they're meeting today

The East Meadow obsessor is a proponent of quantity over quality. When it comes to Ranger forums though he does get around doesn't he ?

The biggest problem with the NY Rangers has always been failure to let players jell into maturity. How mant ex-Rangers went or considered to the Hall of Fame! Its the ownership of the team which has NO KNOWLEDGE of the game - but Just money numbers - will it bring a profit or not? That's all they look for
I been following the Rangers since the mid 1960's - they keep changing coaches,,etc, etc, even uniforms! remember OH-LA-LA Sasoon with Phil Esposito -, then tehy adapted the Russoian style of hockey which bored you at center ice until they decided to go to the end zone!
Also with we had uniform changes to "so called" you will look bigger" idealogy! Among other changes..
Did all these things win championships? Only ONE!!!
The problem is with the ownership and that's the bottom line!
