Rangers face must-dominate game against Devils

Full story: Newsday

You can't call a road game in mid-December a must-win, can you? It's not even as simple as grabbing two points for the Rangers Friday night in Newark against the Devils.

What bothers me most about the Rangers is that they seem to give up so many points to other teams in their division and conference. Night after night they go into overtime, thus giving a point to another team. In the long run they are only hurting themselves by doing that. Those points may come back to haunt them some day. Win in regulation, don't be satisfied with going into overtime every game!!

Idiot, the goal of every coach and every team in any sport at any time is to score 1 more than the other guy. PERIOD!!!

Although I agree that giving up points is never agood thing, a win is a win. Alot of times late in games I find myself hoping they bring it to OT. Get the point atleast then hopefully get it to a shootout. Where the Blueshirts have the best one on one goalie in the league.

Y'don't have to be an expert to note that this staff has failed to construct a power play worthy of the name, and fix the embarrassing propensity to give away short-handed goals, sometimes more than one in a single night's "work" -(ho-ho-ho).
Way past time for a change behind the bench - though there's only so much any coach can do with Golfer Glen's poorly-conceived, cap-busting rosters.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Pisces

It's a big change today after yesterday's combustible atmosphere and you're feeling more relaxed and understanding. You're even prepared to forgive someone for what you thought yesterday was a heinous crime, and ready to give them a second chance. However, let's hope that this person deserves your goodwill and is grateful to receive it.
