The continuing power-play soap opera has played for more than just this season around here.
Speaks volumes about leadership: on-ice, and on the bench.

The only thing the Tampa Bay game showed was how the Rangers need a top notch defenseman like Dan Boyle for the PP. That guy was launching shots from the blue line, which would give his team opportunities for deflections, rebounds, screens, etc. It's painful to watch the Rangers constantly look for the "perfect" play. It's just a lot of frustrating passing of the puck with no results.

And, Renney has been saying the same thing about the PP for the whole season, yet his team doesn't do it. Why? Your the coach, why haven't they been able to learn this theory of crashing the net, insted of fancy passing. It says a lot about Renney.
