Full story: Newsday

That house of cards the Rangers built through 21 games collapsed pretty fast on Wednesday night, faster than Henrik Lundqvist making a bee line for the bench after the Canucks scored their fifth goal in 25:33. ...

I've beeen to almost all of the game at the garden (10) and seen 2 regulation wins. When Vancouver went up 3-0 there was almost a collective gasp thinking 'there's no way we're scoring 3 goals, this one is over'. This team may have just enough scoring but it hinges on protecting their own end. As a whole they have excellcent defensive forwards. It's the absent minded play by defenseman that have cost this team time and time again. Poti, Rauchnek, Backman have single handed underminded Renney's system and now Rozival has it this year. This team is very very soft too. My best solutions for the short term would be to give Staal a lot more powerplay time, find a 7th D (letting Pock go was a mistake) and maybe look to trade Rozival and say Prucha for Avery. For as votatile as he his, he brought the spark plug for this team. Maybe fans will now appreciate what Jagr did for this team.

I really wish people would get over the whole Jagr thing. Yes he did a great deal for the Rangers after the lockout but can you honestly tell me that the Rangers were a better team last year with him? No they weren't, they struggled just as much to score goals, if not more. And when a guy admits to not trying his hardest during the regular season I have a problem with that even if others are willing to let him slide. Avery might have brought a spark to the team on the ice but the two guys that kept him in check off the ice are no longer in the locker room. I agree they should never of left Polk go. Rozi has had mistakes but he is not the only one and I think "fans" are being a little too harsh. But they nornmaly pick someone I guess I just don't understand how anyone believes that a whole arena booing someone is going to help improve their play and not make them more nervous therefore more prone to making a mistake.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Pisces

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
