Wow. What a lop-sided "we just want the Penguins to be the superstars of the NHL" totally slanted story. Why don't you just come out and say it:
"We love the Penguins. We drink the Pittsburgh Kool-Aid. Our mighty Penguins cannot be beat. We've got it all. Those Wings are done, old and crusty and losing their edge. The Penguiins will crush them this year. WIngs don't stand a chance!" You look pretty foolish for writing this tripe after the Wings have completely shut the Pens down two games in a row now. Where's the depth? The toughness? The exuberant unstoppable unbelievable greatest offense the world has ever seen in young unstoppable legs? Yep - even with all the decks supposedly stacked against the Wings (immediate series opener just 3 days after the Blackhawks, with back-to-back games 1 and 2 - something I've never even seen before in ANY series in ANY sport)- the Wings still dominated and decimated your precious Penguins. Pfft. Give it up. The Wings are the model franchise of the NHL. You just hate to admit it. |
