Allison is too slow imo. Didn't bode well for the NHL, I think that is why he is still not signed. A lot of Leaf fans seem to like him. Is it just me?

THEY said the same thing about pearrault. he seems to be doing just fine. Yes allison is not a speedster by any means but he consistantly gets points does well on power plays. everyone who plays on his line improves in the scoring dept.. last year we had a very slow team. this year we are a lot faster. i think we can absorb one slower guy.. dont you think he slows the play down while holding on to the puck? its hard to get it away from him.. i like him obviously.

I actually kind of liked Yannic back in the day. What was Allison's plus minus record for last year? If he is slower, he might be more prone to taking penalties. I'm not bashing you opinion, however, I don't miss him.

DIDNT think you were bashing me.. i like good dialog like this!! i have some stats for u.. allison had 17g-43a-60pts was a -18 with 76 pm tucker had 28g-33a-61pt 100 pm tucker was a -12 still think allison would be a help to ignite our offense. wouldnt hurt to sign him for the rest of the yr i dont think

I agree that Tucker is one dimentional. I've noticed that the only time he scores is on the power play. That was the problem last year, they were crapola 5 on 5 but their power play was great. It might be an upgrade, however, I think their power play has been okay this year. They need to work on playing more consistantly! Like the beginning of the year! I think the reason why they let Allison go was because the team was not great defensively,(and still isn't!)

TRADE:tucker to edmonton for 1st rdr and a third rdr. sign allision... TRADE:sundin to anahiem for 1,2,3,round draft picks. the future is where we have to build for instead of patching the present.. i know we have been rebuilding for forty years. what we have to do is rebuild and NOT change to patching in two or three years.. what do you think?

I'm actually torn. The reason why is because I want them to make the playoffs this year, but in the end I know that they will just be floating around mediocrity (the reason why I would want to rebuild). I don't think that Sundin will be traded because it reported in the Toronto Star that he isn't likely to waive his no trade clause.

I know that Anaheim would have a lot to give back to the Leafs however, I never want Sundin to go there. It doesn't matter how good Anaheim is as a team. I will always see them as a joke because they were started by a children' hockey movie in a market where nobody cares about the sport. I wouldn't want to trade Sundin there because I would NOT want to cheer for Anaheim! Sundin- DON'T go to Anaheim, please!

I know he can't play forever, I just don't want him to get traded to Anaheim. I was saying, if they were to trade him, let him go anywhere else but that team!

Let him go whereever we get the most back for him. He will be missed if they trade him,but the benifits will make the loss bareable.

That is if the picks and the young players pan out. I don't think that he will wave his no trade clause, and knowing Leaf management they will sign him next year so that they will pretend to compete for a stanley cup.

Actually the club has an option on his next year of service. Yes picks and prospects are not a sure thing, but him retiring in two to three years is. He is worth something now. He is starting to get hurt on a yearly basis, and you must admitt he is starting to slow down.. His A game only comes in spurts now.

I'd rather trade tucker for Cogliano and some other player from the Oilers! We need young and fast talent.

I like Carlo, he seems to have come into his own. I don't think that the Leafs will be doing anything big at the deadline for some reason.

I would trade sundin and tucker for draft picks and prospects... were playing good without tucker and have played good when sundin has been out also.. plus tucker is a free agent at the end of the season.. we could trade him, resign him in june and still have some draft picks or prospects in the fold.. now is the time to get the best we can get for these two....

If we are making a push for the playoffs, I wouldn't give up Sundin. Don't forget that he has an option on his contract and that the other team could sign him next year as well. I don't think that they will trade Sundin because he requests to stay in Toronto and he said it publicly.

I would much rather trade tucker for the Young kids like Cogliano or Toews. They got the fire under their ass and theyll do good things. Throw in a draft pick or another player with Cogliano and we're laughing.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
