It is clear that the big names wanted long term deals for big money. Therefore I think Lombardi did the right thing in going second tier. I don't want to see any more great young players develop their talent and then say, See ya, when they are starting to come into their own. I've seen enough of those over the years. But the kings still need a goalie....
