ehhh, I'll accept the point we got against the Devils in that game, since we responded with a nice win against the Sens, but really...the Flyers have to somehow, sometime, get better at shootouts. Seriously, they made Scott Clemmenson look way better than he is. Gagne could have easily scored on him if he deeked him out and Carter should have just went top shelf like Richards did...I don't get why they're trying to score 5-hole...and what was that shot by Kimmo Timonen about? He skated in really fast, stopped, and then tried to fake the goalie out...I thought he should have attempted a back-hand shot like he did against the Pens.
I'm not too worried about it right now, but in the long run, those lost points in the shootout can be the difference between having home-ice advantage during the playoffs, as the division winner and landing the 5th spot and having to play the tough competition right off the bat.
