First of all, I like Kevin Gorg and the way he loves horses and hockey. Today with Paul Allen on KFAN he stuck up for the Wild for their effort during the Black Hawk defeat. He also said that the "chemistry" should not be disrupted during the trading deadline. I am paraphrasing of course. The Wild have absolutely no right to claim any kind of chemistry. Where is our talent? Chicago's is obvious. WE SUCK! Naegele and Risebrough suck! They stole money and good will and now we have nothing. Wait until Koivu and Latendresse come back?
Sorry Kevin, please don't see us the old bill of goods and help with some good ideas to move forward. You are becoming inconsequential and that is the worst place to be of all.

I said a week ago 11th place was coming up faster than a playoff spot, but now I think Columbus will also pass. Oh well, at least it will mean a higher draft pick. Please find someone better than a James Sheppard type.

This team needs to revamp, starting with both broadcast teams. They are unbearable to listen to.

Watched some of the Wild vs Islanders last night. Greenlay was touting the team, certain members and their aggressive play, etc.,etc. as the Wild slipped slowly into the abyss to a mediocre team. What an idiot he is, or is he just a "Company Man?".

Greenlay, Gorg, Terhaar, they are all tools that are afraid to call out this boring, mediocre team for what they are, CRAP....This whole team is a mess and I being a season ticket holder and tired of the complacent, oh well, there is always tomorrow, attitude....The mention of James Shepphard makes me vomit in my mouth..My tickets will not be renewed next, as I am going to pay to watch another mediocre team play this year(Twins), but at least it will be an outdoor game and fresh air..

Ten years worth of sold out games and this is the type of mediocre play we get from the team that is suppose to represent the state of hockey? Why do we do it? I mean we can always go to such Hockey Mecca's like Anaheim and Tampa Bay and ask them what it's like to watch their team hold up the cup? Pathetic joke...

AGREED!

And lets not forget Carolina by the way.

Fans deserve MUCH more than what they have. Every year at trade deadline its..."we're not giving up our future for a rental...." blah blah blah

When the h*ell is the future going to come? Are the some of the players we have now the future of a couple, few years back?! Man, get rid of the scouting team and make some friggin' trades of draft picks or something. We either have no one worth trading or the few that are tradeable, we need. Most of the blame goes to Riseborough signing mediocre to crap players to contracts like they were the Toews or Kanes of the team.

But Fletcher (and Leopold) needs to step up and grow a set and get a marketable team on the ice so the X can get back to selling out every night - this IS the State of Hockey afterall, right?

...by the way, get rid of Greenlay and Teerhar and put Kurtz and Reid back on TV. They're part of the reason I fell in love with hockey as a kid.

And see if Al Shaver wants his radio gig back, he was the best radio broadcaster for hockey.

The author obviously does not watch to much hockey, the Islanders have been one of the better teams in the league over the last 35 games or so. No way are they lowly, this guy is clueless.

Since theres 82 games in a season and not 35 and the NYI are the second worst team in the NHL overall per the standings...doesnt really matter what they did the last 35 games...they're lowly...as of this year...and the Wild should have beaten them purely by experience only...talent-wise Islanders have an edge - gotta give 'em that.

Somehow though, I'm sure the Islanders wont be finishing near the basement next year. Wild got a taste of what theyre capable of. Just a matter of being consistent.

Kurtz isn't the answer. Ever really listen to his broadcast. Nice voice yes, but Burns passes to Bouchard, Bouchard to Havlat, Havlat skates to center and finds Koivu, Koivu dumps the puck in. Hearing the players name twice almost all the time is so obnoxious, not to mention the fact that giving the score and how much time is left every 30 seconds. The two clowns on the tube are just flat out pathetic. In addition, this is the first year either broadcast team is pronouncing Zidlicky's name correctly, and Kurtz Kurtz still has no clue how to pronounce Latendresse. It's almost been a blessing to my ears that he's missed most of the season.

I grew up listening to Kurtz/Reid on TV and Shaver on radio - my opinion of Kurtz will differ from those who didnt I guess.

But I agree with you on the "clowns." I hear other broadcasters on NHL Network highlights and wish Teerhar/Greenlay had a quarter of the talent they do.
