The entire Rangers team is a collection of third and fourth line players. What they have in their favor is that Jose is terrible. Caps should pick anyone form the Obama administration to play goal and it would be an improvement.

Washington dominated the faceoffs something like 56-17. Rangers need to improve big time in this area. They blew a two goal lead with sloppy defensive zone coverage. The difference last night Queen Hendrik played better than "Happy Jose" Theodore.

I agree. They whistled Naslund for everything except intent to play defense.

Torts needs to treat Naslund like he does the rest of the team: do something stupid and you sit for a while. 2 stupid penalties that lead to 2 pp goals for Wash. I don't care that he scored, his +/- should be plus, not finishing a minus 11. Sit that underachiever, over priced has-been on his a$$.

Washington was 1for7 on the PP. Naslund might have taken dumb penalties, but he did score a big goal. You wanna sit a guy who can score in favor of who ????!???!?

+/- is a really over-rated stat. Gretzky and Leetch had bad plus minuses when they played on Rangers teams that sucked. Does that mean that those guys should have been benched as well ?

Last time the rangers played on a saturday in the playoffs was game two against Atlanta, and game one was the same score/ type game as game one against Atlanta.. so let's have avery bank the puck off the side boards and in from his own zone and come home 2-0.

- what was that first penalty on girardi, a hand checking foul on marbury?

without those two penalties for shooting the puck in the crowd the rangers were penalized 7 to 2, if that happens again it would be a great disparity to the 1 more power play a game average the home team usually gets in the nhl.

The ice capades cancelled. They said because even the owner of the isles said he wished he never bought the team, and that the coliseum was a grade A DUMP, they dont want to do business there
