I say give Pitkanen one more chance to turn around his game. When they traded for his friend, Kukkonen, he seemed to pick it up a notch. There is still room for improvement. He needs to be more physicall in his own end and use his speed more to get back into his own end when he's pinching in the offensive zone. Alot of times this year he seemed to be not totally in the game. Mentally or physically. Get rid of Hatcher instead and take a hit on your cap. A bag of pucks is more vauble then him. If he was smart he'd retire. This is a faster game now then when he came into the league.

Yeah Pitkanen has been better since Kukkonen come over. Hatch has to go! I used to love the way he played but the game has changed too much for him and he just can't keep up.
I mean you watch hatch and he looks like he is not sure what to do anymore.. and sometimes the Flyers should have taken the body (or penalty) to save some goals the PK was very stron all year and also begs the question why couldn't they play stronger 5-5 or even on the PP.
