Flyers' Antero Niittymaki beats Thrashers _ again

Full story: The Associated Press

Antero Niittymaki stopped the streaking Atlanta Thrashers _ again. The Philadelphia goalie improved to 11-0 against Atlanta on Sunday night, making 29 saves _ 19 in the third period _ to help the Flyers end the Thrashers' five-game winning streak with a 4-3 home victory. 'I really don't know. I just feel comfortable playing against them,' Niittymaki said. 'There's no magic. Hopefully, it stays that way.' Niittymaki is one of two active goalies with a perfect record in at least 10 decisions against one team. Detroit's Chris Osgood is 17-0 against Tampa Bay.

Yea, Gagne was really upset about Kovalev's elbow to his head. Montreal is the dirtiest team in the league this year, with headhunters like Kovalev and Kostopulous, etc...the only reason why Kovalev didn't get suspended is because he gets preferential treatment because of his league status. But this isn't the first time he's thrown an elbow at someone's head before. It sucks that the Flyers have to deal with this shit just because there's a double standard in the league and everyone hates the Flyers. I hope Vaananen or Richards annihilates Kovalev at the blueline during the next game. The Flyers need to rally behind Gagne..

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Taurus

It's important that you leave yourself plenty of room to manouvres during the weeks ahead, as Mercury turns retro today, especially when it comes to making decisions and airing your opinions to the world. You need to be as flexible as possible right now, otherwise you could find that you've boxed yourself into a corner and have to do some serious back-tracking. You need to consider all points of view and not just your own.
