For all the people who think Avery and Hollweg, etc. take cheap shots at players and runs at them, which they don't, you got your payback this afternoon. All the Thrashers could do was take runs at Avery and company. The last few minutes of the game were a disgrace to the sport and the refs lost control. 3.4 seconds to go and a guy from Atlanta run at Cullen? Shanahan gets jumped from behind? Avery gets cold cocked with a shoulder from that cry baby Kovalchuck? I mean come on, that was a pathetic display of poor sportsmanship. Did Atlanta think they were sending a message to the Rangers? Message received, you are down 2 games to none as the 3rd place seed and now have to win 4 out of 5 from one of the hottest goalies in the league.
